Thanks- you inspire others (including me) to tackle renovations. I do suggest the kreg k5. It has side supports and you can lock it down from in front. I put mine on a piece of plywood so it travels easy, is stable and I can just hang it up when not in use. Oddly, I was glad to hear you had problems with your screws poking though the other side. I did too. I think it was a batch of plywood with maybe a little softer layers or maybe I just needed to not drive the screws home too hard. I made small adjustments to the bit collar and it worked. Thanks for showing problems too. Keep it up! Love your channel! Girl power!

When you said "log cabin" I was thinking that space was at a premium. All you've got is space. I was thinking one floor but from the living room floor to the roof line you've got over twenty feet and a beautiful view. That looked like a perfect picture for a Christmas card.
I love the design, it is definitely an office made in heaven. Cozy and warm... I'm however surprised that you didn't turn the shelf bases into some kind of storage space... like pop out drawers, a small enough space to store... 🤔 hmmm I don't know maybe guns and ammo or just paper and pens. 😅. But that space could have been used for storage, every corner is valuable real eatate.
Love it. I’ve tried using a pair of needle pliers to guide/shove my pocket hole plugs to get them in deeper. Did you have an issue with the pocket hole not being deep enough?
Hardware store as employer should care about safety of their personnel beside customer satisfaction, which comes trough training and speciality tools to make work safer and reducing heavy lifting operations. Their refusal to cut drywall is just because they have no setup for that, hence you on your own when you pick full sheet of drywall. But they have speciality saws for cutting full sheets of plywood or chop dimensional lumber to size for you, but may limit number of cuts, like 2 cuts per sheet or something like that if it happens at busy store hours. Also accuracy of in store cuts is something I would not rely on as blade may be dull, measurements a bit off and etc, so I normally add extra half inch to whatever size I am looking for.

Why not moving the outlet to the side? Now it’s in the middle of the bookshelf?
