DayTrader -Both - Futures ,i am daytrade but my day is usaly done in 1h some times longer if market is slower and takes longer to get my Main target
I love day trading breakouts, they're so much fun! There's so much potential there. I'm always picking winners most of the time but my problem is that I'm afraid of getting a PDT flag so end up staying in the trade till the AM and you know what happens there, I lose some of what I've earned then I lose all that I earned. So now I think what I need to do is just put in my limit buys and stop loses and not worry about getting the stupid flag and whatever I get I get.....
Develop a trading plan which will then determine your personality in trade. Personally I prefer scalping but sometimes I scalp to swing and its all within the trading plan
A very Tasty Burger analogy !! lol . Brilliant advice as I think the myriad of instruments only fuel distraction. Focus and specialising whereby "Less is More", is a better way to go to... and preserves sanity !!
I'm a swing trader. Trade 2/3 stocks a month more time less stress
I am more confortable in swing trade. Of course I also do daytrade but much less than swing. And scalping only when the markets gives me a very good opportunity otherwise, no. My personality type is more swing than anything else.

Poker taught me not to "Tilt" thank goodness it transfered over to trading.
