- The Special Operations Command or SOCOM at Fort Magsaysay, Neuva Ecija is home to the Scout Ranger Regiment, Light Reaction Regiment, and the Special Forces Regiment Airborne Unit among others. They are trained in unconventional warfare, special reconnaissance, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. The basic airborne course of the Special Forces Regiment trains the soldier to jump out of the aircraft and land safely in places that is otherwise unreachable via conventional methods. This is a 45 day course that start from the ground all the way up to the actual aircraft.

Matagal siguro maka graduate dito. At mahirap din makapasok kaya kaunti lang siguro. 5 battalions lamang ang size ng Special Forces Regiment.

J C the navsog regularly trains with the airborne. They’re cut from the same fabric 💪🏼
The only difference is that in NAVSOG training, you will be trained for sea, air and land operations within 4-8 months.

3 Stars there’s been several instances that they’ve been deployed in combat. The more recent ones were during Marawi Siege and the Battle of Zamboanga

Clyde Tupas, if team of soldiers use their parachutes in their mission, i believe that it is a highly classified one. To answer your questions, yes there's a lot of mission using parachutes as an entry ticket for a stealth entries for their assignments. cheers!

dalton delta fury I think that depends mostly on the mission rather than the available gear, but yes, they’re more than capable to do that

@@lancelusung7354 sa pag kaka alam ko 26 ang qualify para mag apply ka sa AFP if enlisted pero commission naman ay 21- 30 ata tas degree holder ka kong sa program naman ng dalawang elite unit di ko yan masasagot

Scout Ranger ka muna para diretso kana train ng Special Forces Operation Course.Basic Airborne Course lang ito sa video not entire SF which take a year to train

@@daltondeltafury1500 i think i will be capable if trained properly. Kaya nga i ask if pde ang civilian dyan. I can still remember well when i jumped from a 50ft river cliff when i was 8yrs old and i loved the thrill of doing it.
@@romelpaulngalis9601 you can go to any private skydiving school then you can jump with the military when you get 100 or more jumps from different altitude.. mr. Daredevil?😊 dream high.. someday maybe you will jump with seal operators with 50,000 ft. or more altitude..

The mighty AFP was trained by the United States in Military Airborne techniques , tactics and procedures ( TTP )
Its As though Ft Benning was replicated in the Philippines for Basic parachuting , free fall and jump Master
I did Not note any Chinese influence in this train the trainer difficult and dangerous evololution ( s )
Mike Pazzree the US and the Philippines has had a long standing relationship spanning over 70 years. The NAVSOG was also patterned after the US Navy Seals and the MARSOG still trains with the US Marines regularly. The historic ties and the US hegemony has contributed a lot to that.
As for the Chinese - during the formative years of the AFP, they weren’t as open as they are now hence no Chinese influence.
