I'll end up using all 3 once I get to the level I need to be ABLE to use them.
To repeat what others have said... the VST for the MIC. That means that I don't have to put up that sound deadening foam in my stream room cause the HVAC is loud.
None, I don´t have an RTX graphics card, so nothing new for me. I was hoping that they have implemented something to actually get me a background blur or background removal on my Facecam, but it´s just for Nvidia users. So yeah

I am loving the new update for the wave link. I was considering the cost of going for a new audio solution due to background noises, but here comes Elgato saving my money and time!!

I just purchased a Wave 1 this weekend so i am really happy that El Gato is still continuing to update and support their products for so many years after launch.
I've been seriously impressed with what Nvidia Broadcast has brought in. Good to see that these features our (finally) rolled out to other software, making it easier to use.

Not only do I find a solution for background noise for good, but he also throws in a nice studio picture for us to use, what a lad! Thanks to this video I will rid myself of background noise for the forseeable future. So I will definitely keep my eye out for future videos like this one!
I love Elgato just making it so much smoother for streamers or content creators. SOME TIMES their software messes up, but I still love their stuff.
Lol, your example with the teammate is close to what I just did for my Discord audio. My friends have some stupidly inconsistent mic levels and I got tired of adjusting them all the time, so I just slapped ReaComp onto Discord in my mixer.

I just setup an Elgato webcam and mic. Haven't used them too much yet but it's nice to have these options out of the gate once I start streaming and doing voice overs in my videos.

Hey great videos I just subscribed and like the content you've been really helpful to me and making some decisions lately. I'm kind of a novice but I'm curious can I use this elgato and the Nvidia software with both a MacBook pro and a Chromebook as my primary computers? When I went to the Nvidia website it seemed like I am only able to use Windows

I'm glad I watched your video. I use Broadcast and still do because for some reason they never included the built in background removal that Broadcast still has. I didn't even think to use a greenscreen image so I am going to play around with that tonight. One less piece of software is the reason I went with Eglato. Was tied of playing with voicemeeter and other audio apps and just having one for each device to do everything I want plus OBS is ideal.

Oh I can't wait to try this out! Setting up a green screen every time I want to stream really limits how often I feel like streaming. And in my current situation I NEED to filter out my bg. If I can do that with just the press of a button I will definitely be streaming more often!
I would only recommend the noise removal vst if you ABSOLUTELY need it.
My gpu idle power draw went from 14-18 watts all the way up to 80-110 watts, as reported by multiple programs. If you don’t have heavy background noise, a traditional noise gate might be better, one that doesn’t quadruple your power draw at idle…
Well does it matter? If you are already gaming, you power draw will be up anyway. Besides, noise gate is useless while you are talking.
Hey Harris, for Elgato capture.. I was wondering if you could advise me on a good Bluetooth wireless gaming headset that has LOW input latency?
I use an Elgato to capture PS5 footage while playing on my big living room TV. Running headphones from the PS5 makes it so that the audio isn't picked up by the Elgato stream, so I need the headphones to connect to the TV itself! And the TV doesn't have an AUX port. So it's Bluetooth or bust, and most Wireless earbuds / over-ears feature considerable enough input latency that I am experiencing an audible delay when playing the game.
Could you make a video on the loupedeck live/Razer Stream Controller? Possibly compare it to the elgato streamdeck? I'm curious about which is better for video editing, since I have more focus on videos.
I’ve been using nvidia broadcast and elgato equipment since I started my channel in October. I’m glad they merged , it should be less taxing on my pc now 😁

One question, for the video option, do you need the elgato webcam? or can you use any webcam/dslr?
Would you put together a preset for those using the Wave Link software and Wave1/3 microphones? I know getting something for everyones individual set up is difficult but it would be nice to get a good baseline and with this new 1.5 update I see you can import and export audio effect presets.

Does the MoBo codec matter for audio quality for streams like 892/897 vs 1200 or 1220?
If not, does using the BEACN make using a better codec or sound card a must?
I'm going to go look to see if you have a what you need to record gameplay but do you need a capture card to do so?
Do you know if the GSYNC thing will be rolled out for older capture cards? I have a 4K60 pro 2.
If im using an Elgato Facecam with the camera hub software, how do i get the effects to show up on SLOBS? I was playing around with the effects last night and whenever I tried to use them they either didnt show at all or the camera would freeze.

im trying to use the audio effects with my wave 3, but it cant find any files when i try to search for them. any idea why that would be? I even reached out to nvidia cause i had issues downloading at first and they didnt even know what the audio effects was.
If im already using nvidia broadcast features is there a benifit to using it through the elgato apps?

While using the audio noise removal VST I am getting a crackling noise across all sub mixes. Even mixes that don't have the VST on them. I had the same issue with Xaymar's VST that did the same thing. I increased the buffer size but even at Very Large size it doesn't resolve the crackle sound.
Is there something else that can be done? It is unusable in this state.

Are the separated Audio and Video downloads different from the "normal" Nvidia Broadcast download that has both audio and video together in a single app?
I'm having issues with that cam, when trying to use the green screen on OBS I have a green line around my body is there away to remove that? sorry if this is a dumb question
I have a Wave 3 and installed the NVIDIA Effects + RTX Voice VST, do I still need Gate/Comp plugins? I'm a noob please be gentle with me.
I don't have a need for a capture card at the moment (except my CamLink 4k which grabs my DSLR camera input. But the first two are FREAKING AWESOME!!!
I have a yeti and blue voice I sound good but Been thinking of getting a elgato wave xlr and a new mic not decided upon a mic but my yeti isn't even a year old would it be bad to upgrade again or just go for it cause the quality would be worth it

I use Nividia Broadcast on my Razer Kiyo and I love it. I use a little blur with their auto-tracking feature which works alright. I use the mic settings on my Yeti I've gotten great reviews from people in Discord and lobbies
I got the video plug in to work but I am having issues with the audio plug in. When I scan for the plugins it tells me that there are no new audio plugins found.
i get the advantages of having nvidia broadcast mic settings as a VST, but whats the difference between using broadcast to add effects to your camera vs doing it in the cam hub from elgato?

Hi, I bought the Elgato Facecam because of the blurred background option. But when I installed the hub app to my Mac, I didn't see the option. Please advice.
I have purchased the Elgato Facecam but for some reason it doesn't work as i need it to. I am using OBS and i do have Nvidia Broadcast installed. but as soon as i launch camera hub then my camera does not show in OBS. I even uninstalled Broadcast but the effects that the camera hub app provides does not apply to my camera on OBS. Any hint/help?

I have the ability to use all 3 of these in my setup but will likely only use and checkout the vst for wave link. I have already been using a vst for my background noise but would like to see if this new one works better or is easier to use.

If I'm already using NVidia Broadcast, do I even *need* these? I figure I'll use it to cut out the static fan noise from behind my friend's mic when we're playing Rocket League since the sound of fans literally put me to sleep, but otherwise, do I really need it for any other purpose? Would using them together cause any issues in noise removal?
