Raking hay

Raking hay to help it cure is an extra job that we try to skip if we can.
Raking is a really simple job and lovely on an open cab tractor as long as the flying insects aren't too bad. As luck would have it, the bugs haven't been really bothering me yet this year.
If the weather forecast is nice we will not rake the cut hay as this is just extra work for the machinery and man hours that could be better off spent somewhere else.{ I'm thinking a lawn chair with a book and cool summer cocktail.... ;) }

How do you raise and lower the spindles on the rake. I just bought one like yours

Hi there! Our rake has a handle on a threaded rod that cranks in and out raising the rake wheels.
