Each home was uniquely beautiful UrbanEye. I loved the differences between them yet each hone felt so inviting and warm. No doubt you enjoyed each walk-through. I could've cried on the last house, those stairs ruined in the double archway. But my favorite was the 1st one. Wooden ceilings are just the best thing ever to me! Thanks again my friend!
My family is from Georgia. My grandather 1893-1956 was a builder. He built several homes in central Georgia and So Florida like the first one shown here with the wide front porch. Thats how they survived the Great Depression , although he was rarely home. The homes in Georgia still stand. The one in Florida was torn down in the 80s to make way for condos. I have great memories of these well built homes and the people who loved them. Thank you for the tour. ❤
Thank you for sharing, I also come from a family of builders and craftsman I think that is why I love architecture and history. Thank you for watching.
Forelorn - says it all ! 😂😢 These houses a mere shadows of the past, a reflection what was and never will be. Dreams lived, and dreams now broken lay shattered on the floor. Who lived here and what were their lives like. Always makes me wonder. It's a shame that these house lay forgotten, frozen in time, and no one to tell their stories. Love the music so surreal and haunting. As always thanks for the peek inside, even though it was kinda sad.😢
Thanks for sharing this video with me about the Forgotten Southern Houses Early 1900S they were very beautiful old homes they just need som TLC back into them. i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out on my community tab and God Bless
I think you said it very well in the beginning, these houses are not cookie cutter houses, they have charm and were built by craftsmen who had pride in what they did. It is sad that they now sit empty. Is the last house just waiting on insurance so that it can be repaired, I noticed the house was still full of belongings. Thanks for the tour.
Beautiful homes hold the best memories. Through your videos, we'll never forget.
