@@vitpasfansagan6067 Og Double tap might not be the best but it’s a perk people still want in zombies today. Even if it’s another variant of the perk. Double tap is still double tap
I’m saying buried, honestly buried added 2 new wonder weapons, paralyzer and mk2, it added the time bomb equipment which is so complicated on a technical level, first map with a NPC thats on your side, the booze and candy system, the permaperks where expanded, they added a new perk, 2 brand new buildable traps, you could fly with the paralyzer, they added a reskin for the python, a new boss type the witches and their house, a 2 sided easter egg, a way to get extra perks, wallbuy chalks to put wallbuys where you want them. Just insane honestly.
Im really liking this Channel you do a great job explaining your criticism but also not in a way thats not toxic. Despite your issues with for example chaos story and gobblegums. It was very well detailed in your critical analysis but you also acknowledged the other side of the coin.
based pick, this map has been on my personal top 5 since the bo1 remastered. i was playing it yesterday on plutonium waw with 4 players and it felt HECTIC, Stratigical, dangerous and most important, really fun. world at war is such a great game that i feel it gets overlooked by its time when in fact it is part of the TRUE black ops trilogy of zombies that should have ended in bo2 origins
Tranzit was fun if you could tolerate the pain. Remove the annoying and it's a nice base map, sadly most cant see past this, but also it makes its identity so much on the parts that are both good and bad it's impossible to remove the bad. Having something like a bus for every stop, denizens only spawning 10 seconds after you kill one, making it so you can hold 3 parts, making the perma perks have an icon and a description of what it does and how to get/loose it, and making the paralyzer the wonder weapon only goes so far.
i think Shang should’ve been a mention. I feel the way you could interact with that maps systems and enemies made it unlike any other and i don’t believe has been replicated as effectively to this day.
Hmm... You know, I really do need to rework my criteria for Zombie maps. Innovation was one of them, but thinking about it, I really underscored and overscored some maps. Verruckt being an underscored map
It is rightous way of thinking but there is much more to concide with other maps...Mainly derrise...This is first map that included every little aspect and then some making outdoor zombies but also with many tight spaces...quintesential establishment of what zombie formula with slight deviations here and there will become It has to be naht, veruckt or derrise...Shinonum could onestly compet as well onestly as first sandbox zombie map
Probably Origins. I think zombies kind of hit its creative peak with that map cuz everything after Origins was more or less copying that formula. But it just has everything man.

I knew from the beginning you were gonna say Verrückt. It’s pretty much the building blocks of the entire mode, outside of pap and a main ee.
What does main easter egg mean?

Finally, someone appreciates this map and all it did also the mechanic was introduced in aw on one of the maps so even non treyarch people used it

I feel like tranzit was the innovator with most of this stuff buried was just a much more polished version of it

@jadenalvarado4912 I know that some of my opinions aren't "popular" but I always like to have discussions and clarify why I love zombies so much!
I think the cod ww2 island map with the fog is very innovative
I found it difficult and interesting. I actually liked the darkest shore
