Every times there is a match up between 2 similar sized animal but one is from Africa, you can easily just conclude that the african one is stronger, there is much more competition and more dangerous prey there, and the constant evolution in speed and strenght pushed every "competitor" to the peak, only some remaining megafauna from eurasia and north america can be a match because it used to be pretty competitive during the ice age (like tigers or bears), but most of the time it's a no match.
Africa is a challenging environment for sure, but you can't downplay what it takes to survive and thrive in the Australian Outback. If you can survive living in the bush, you can survive any terrain and condition.

Grizzly Bears defeat Polar Bears where their territory overlaps. Probably because they live among each other more often and are more accustomed to combat and struggling with land animals that put up a fight. Polar bears are more solitary and feed on animals that can't defend themselves well on land. Kodiaks are mainly fish eaters so that may even things out but I would still take them in a fight because of their size and claw length.

The Belgian was in his prime, our dog was old and with worn teeth, which is the thing that saved the Belgian. The Belgian got grabbed by the throat and hind legs repeatedly while he tried unsuccessfully to grab our dog by the shoulders. I had to get in there to break the fight up before our neighbor's beautiful dog was tore up.

In the early 90's i witnessed a Golden Retriever whoop one of those wild dogs ass. It was a rural area and my aunts neighbor had one in a cage, idk why or how, but it got out and went straight for my aunts golden retriever. It was a long squabble but it ended with Cody (the retriever) submitting the wild dog by the neck. I thought Cody was gonna have a heart attack afterwards lol he was huffing and bleeding and just laid down in the kithen, needed water and medical attention but he won. I gained alot of respect for the golden retriever after seeing that.
the only reason the golden won because it has a better jaw, kind of simillar to that of the extinct bone crusher dogs, or maybe because it was a really big golden. You never know. We had a mongrel dog that looked a lot like a dingo and weighed 45 lbs. Our neighbor came over with his 90 lb Belgian shepherd which attacked our dog. The Belgian was in his prime, our dog was old and with worn teeth, which is the thing that saved the Belgian. The Belgian got grabbed by the throat and hind legs repeatedly while he tried unsuccessfully to grab our dog by the shoulders. I had to get in there to break the fight up before our neighbor's beautiful dog was tore up.

I’ve seen 2 wild dogs chase off a hyena and sometimes injure them and hyenas are way bigger and stronger so I think wild dog would win.
I'm not aware of any Asian Dingos, unless you're referring tot he New Guinea singing dog, which is related to the Dingo.

I think it would depend on size and savagery, if both were same size and age it would then depend on which is most savage. He said the wild dog is faster but that is in a run a dingo is just as fast in a fight. I used to know a dingo dog cross and he could beat much bigger dogs.

A kangaroo is nothing compared to a wildebeest. Also, dingoes mostly hunt bunnies. Kangaroos are a rare occasion. Not to mention that kangaroos attempt to drown dingoes and despite the fact that that doesn't happen to painted dogs, they still avoid large bodies of water because of the more dangerous animals in it.

In the early 90's i witnessed a Golden Retriever whoop one of those wild dogs ass. It was a rural area and my aunts neighbor had one in a cage, idk why or how, but it got out and went straight for my aunts golden retriever. It was a long squabble but it ended with Cody (the retriever) submitting the wild dog by the neck. I thought Cody was gonna have a heart attack afterwards lol he was huffing and bleeding and just laid down in the kithen, needed water and medical attention but he won. I gained alot of respect for the golden retriever after seeing that.

the only reason the golden won because it has a better jaw, kind of simillar to that of the extinct bone crusher dogs, or maybe because it was a really big golden. I just saw a video on how these animals fight the painted dogs are no where near a ferocious as dingoes, dingoes have a fight in them that until you see it you have no idea about it. I would always put money on the dingo it will never back down once it engages.

I'd have to see it to believe that African wild dogs are capable of fighting in a one-on-one scenario. I would say that the dingo wins by virtue of its willingness to fight one-on-one. Something tells me that an African wild dog would just flee the scene without even fighting.

Wild Dogs for sure, I’ve seen wild dogs hunting solo and they managed to hunt bigger prey. I’ve seen wild dogs be friend a hyena and adopted a family of jackals and stayed there for a long time. Jackals loved him and started seeing it as family. Dingoes don’t have as many predators as wild dogs
