the oem moulding pieces for the roof channels are 2x Molding Roof Drip 75555-60050, and 2x Lexus GX 460 Moulding. Roof drip side finish 75555-60030.. half the price if you order from japan... youtube wont let me comment onthe roof rack video

@@juanchavez7418 2003-2014 is 85’lbs. 2015-2023 is 80’lbs. These specs are based on popular wheel and tire store sites that torque hundreds of cars per day and make adjustments to wear and tear. I use 89/90 because I take my wheels on and off far more than the average person to the point where the extra torque takes up some of the worn powder coat on the rims common to the lug nuts. The torque specs off the vehicle manual at 76’lbs doesn’t compensate for the intended lifestyle of GX owners and its wheels directly off the Lexus production line. If you choose 76’lbs for the life of your ownership, good luck and I’ll continue to pray for your family.
One of my customers owed me a debt and gave me this pair. Had no idea they were that much. Good thing these drug addicts can't repay their debt. My TH-cam channel is just a front.
Great and timely video. I ordered a Motive and the adapter. I did not want to cut off the end of my Motive just in case a family member that has a ford/gm wanted to borrow it for thier cars. I added a type T coupler to the Motive and replaced the 1/4 in coupler off the adapter. Lots of thread tape and it holds pressure and easy on/off. What are your thoughts on the dry bleeding method vs filling the motive?
Why would you take a simple care free method and turn it into an anxiety hell hole? The dry method requires you to constantly check your fluid levels, remove and reinstall your adapter to refill the reservoir, only to constantly recheck your fluid levels again. The most you’re able to do are short bleeds in each line but i wouldn’t risk trying to flush out your lines for a brake system flush.
Awesome. If you do have a second person to pump the brakes for you, I’d save the $50 from buying the pressure bleeder and $30 for the Lexus adapter. Just keep constant visual of your master cylinder from dropping too low. Good luck with your brake job.
Thanks GXBob! I just did it by using the other pump. It has a quick connector coupler so I didn't have to cut the rubber hose. One quick question... I'm pretty sure that i cleaned up the bleeder screws and the rubber caps very well, but i did find out some brake fluid in all 4 caps when i took them off after doing a 30 miles drive. Was that the leftover fluid in the bleeder screws? Or i should torque them down further? Do you happen to know the torque spec?
@@kengecheung9929 Torque wrench is not normally used for bleeder screws but is typically in the range of 10-14 ft lbs. i would clean up your residue one more time and just keep an eye on your fluid level.

On my GX I use techstream software to bleed the lines, it takes just 5 minutes. Bleeding procedure works automatically, for front line bleeding you don’t need to remove the wheels and open the valves as well. For back you just need to open the valves for couple of seconds with no wheels to be removed
I’m shooting a video that requires light and camera angles. My videos are also aimed at folks that can’t afford techstream because we’ve been sucked dry by our exwife.

I wish you would have try the other pressure tester. The Motiva can be improved by drilling a small hole and installing a shredder valve from a tire.
