- Join me on a two-day solo skiing journey through the mountains.
I traveled 22km through deep snow, heavy winds, and I had to dig out a snow cave to survive the snowstorm.

A really positive young lad doing what he loves and telling the world in a language that is not his own. Nice low-key presentation. Makes me wish I was 22 again.
I couldn't agree more with you and I was just pampering this young lad by calling little lad for him bringing joy to our hearts with this amazing work .
Thank you very much! 🙏
I really appreciate the kind words 😊
Being 22 was the best.
Great channel. I really enjoy it as an old mountaineer. I live off the grid in the Santa Cruz mountains CA. You’ve got great skills.
My favourite youtuber uploaded the video!
Much appreciated! 🙏🥹
Very interesting.👍👌🤗
This sounds like bad AI
If you run out of fuel for your stove, how can you make freshwater?
@jeffreydonovan827 bro im real, i just love Mountains, and Mountain Sports
Definitivno underrated channel
Hvalaa! 😊
Potpisivam ✍️✍️✍️
I watch your videos with my young daughters (6&8), and they laughed hysterically when you collapsed your snow cave 😂
Hahah I’m happy to hear that 😀 that moment really brought out the inner child in me 🤣
Well this just made my morning better
This comment just made my day better :)
I’m so glad TH-cam is recommending this channel. I just joined it and it has gained at least 5k followers already.
same! they recommended last week, then kept recommending, and i just keep watching him every day.
Thanks for another adventure. Your winter weather skills are expert level and your skiing ability off piste weaving among the trees at high speed is amazing. That snow cave was a work of art.
Thank you for the kind words! 🙏
I wish you a wonderful day 😊
why doesnt this guy have millions of subs?
You should be a mountain guide... I adore watching your videos, so well done ... and absolutely hilarious, you have a comedian hidden in you ;-)
Also my favorit out doors video channel on You tube. Nice to join your adventures. Beautiful made and with humor.
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words 🙏😊
Spontaneo , diretto, naturale, semplice, divertente con l 'inesauribile energia di un ventenne!Complimenti e grazie!
Best TH-camr right now
Thank you, that means a lot! ❤️
I love how everyone is so stoked to see a new upload. I’m the same way- grab a cup of tea and kick back…
Yeah, the support lately has been unreal ❤️
I really appreciate all the kind messages 🙏
The content and shots are already very nice, and I appreciate this man's security tendencies in changing conditions. While he only wears his hat during flat walking, he wears his red helmet depending on the climbing and walking conditions, or when skiing, he wears his ski cap depending on the danger. You can entrust your life to such people during your walks. :)
😂 learning italian in bed after climbing two mountains and building a snow cave lol. Another awesome journey
All the best wishes from Austria love your videos and I am also ski touring a lot in the tyrolean alps so I especially like this adventure of yours
I love your adventures. You seem like such a nice considerate guy. There should be more people like you
thanks for blessing us with these videos!! Buona fortuna per l’italiano!
grazie, lo apprezzo davvero! 🙏
p.s. I had to google a few words, I’m not that fluent yet 😅
This channel is so underrated!
Much appreciated 😊
Greetings from Algeria , little lad and thank you so much for the beautiful scenery that you showed us .
Keep up this good work and best of luck ❤
Thank you for the kind message!
Kind regards from Slovenia ❤️
I don't often watch mountaineering movies or videos because I don't often find them very entertaining or educational. I don't know why I first watched one of yours, Andraz, but I am glad that I did. I have watched several of your videos and not a single one was a disappointment. I subscribed and look forward to watching more of your work. You do a great job of educating and entertaining with a very personal touch. It's like exploring the mountains with a knowledgeable friend -- if only I had the youth and skills to keep up! 😅 Oh -- and the scenic views that you capture! You have a great eye for the beauty around you. Also, the collapsing of the cave in this little adventure was classic. We all need to just let go and enjoy simple pleasures now and then. 😊 Thank you for sharing! 👍 Happy New Year!
You have an Outdoor Boys vibe and it's amazing!! 😅 Best channel ever!! 😂
This video realy gives outdor boys wube just much yunger and with your twist
I love watching outdoor boys as well, so I really appreciate it! 🙏

Thank you, it means a lot to hear that!
I wish you all the best 🙌
Great stuff and with such simplicity... Just too nice. Keep exploring with all safety and precautions.... *God is great* ❤❤❤
You are a wonderful man ! Stay safe. Hello from Lithuania ! ❤
Thank you very much!
Kind regards from Slovenia ❤️
*ABSOLUTE LEGEND!*
Vrhunski video!
Hvalaa! 😊
Cave very well done. Important to note for eveyone doing it that you made a platform for not resting down at the bottom of the cave where all the cold air will drop over night! On that platform it will be noticable warmer than bellow it!
💯 build a platform and cut a small grove running the length of the floor as a cold air trap ;)
If you take some thin branches and break them all the same length, you can use them to stick in your pile before you start digging so you know how thick the roof is. Helps with symmetry as well.
Wow, seeing you ski made my day😀. Stay safe!
Thank you! Seeing this comment made my day 😀
Just found this channel and it's freaking good quality of the content , views, adventures, climbing, story telling, everything. I follow two Polish mountain adventurers and it would be great to see you all in a joint climbing or skitouring. Keep on doing it Andraz😊, thank you for sharing your passion with us. Greeting from Tatra mountains 🫡
You dug your shelter in a recession of a "valley" all the cold air that descents the valley ends up in your shelter. You need to either dig on the side of the valley with the door facing the descending direction or at a "bump" or flat area. These are my two cents, I might be wrong as the video can be deceiving.
What a great and interesting video!!!Congrats bro!!! Greetings from Spain!
Thank you brother!
Kind regards from Slovenia ❤️
And im enjoying this from London! You are remarkable and we all admire your good humour and expertise- thank you! Xx

heheheheheheh Andraz now has two official super powers #1: Spilling Food, #2: A beerless beer belly!
Another excellent video, keep up the great work 🙏

Hvalaa! 🙏😊
Loved t snow cave/ your filming is masterful/ thnx for t subtitles. wishing you many such adventures from NZ. : )
Thank you for your kind message my friend!
Greetings from Slovenia 😊
That was interesting cave in luxury. good work
This really brings back the memories of my close to four months hike in the alps, going from France all the way to Slovakia. I didn’t bother to build such a nice snow shelter unless the weather was really bad (a small tunnel would do) but I was sad when the snow started to melt as that meant sleeping under a little shelter.
Anyway, you should get yourself a liquid fuel burner. It’s slightly heavier but it’s better suited for the cold and high altitudes. It runs on just about any liquid fuel. Diesel, high octane, lamp fuel.
this is great for introverts
još jedan zakon video! Respekt! :D pozz iz HR! 💪
Hvalaa! 🙏
Pozdrav iz SLO! 👋😀
I ENJOYED THE CLIMB AND VIEWS. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE REALISM FROM YOUR NOT EDITING OUT MISFORTUNES THAT HAPPEN TO ALL. THANK YOU, THIS VIDEO. .... SHARED! .. MIKE.
Another amzing video!!! Keep them going!!!!
Thank you my friend! 🙏
Just love these videos, great content , photography, editing and I can't believe the energy you have ,you make it look like a walk in the park.
Always enjoy your trips. You have a beautiful playground! Stay safe.
Thank you! We sure do have beautiful mountains ❤️
You are the best. I love all your video.❤
Thick candle work really well to raise the temperature and they burn longer than the small fuel cell. Great vid👍❤
Holy crap you're a mad lad 🤯 walking up that mountain multiple times haha. Excellent video, Thank you for sharing! Subscribed!!! You deserve 50k subscribers!
Haha thank you brother!
I really appreciate that. Hopefully we reach that number one day :)
Nice and toasty! Love it.
🙌😀
Damn! That must have been exhausting. From all the climbing to ski down the mountain and to dig an entire cave alone. But not bad for an adventure. You do say that you are aware of the dangers of skiing alone at the end of the video. So I hope you are also carrying a an emergency radio just in case. Hopefully, you will never have to use it. Stay safe man. Thanks for the great content as usual.
It’s safe to say I slept like a baby that night 😅.
Thanks mate, I wish you a wonderful day! 🙌😊
Never knew there are skins and bindings turning you skis into dual use, awesom!
Hello from Alberta Canada! I am a new subscriber and love your videos. This one in particular was great because it reminded me of a trip I did in the Canadian Rocky’s back when I was younger. Two friends ,my brother and I did a snow caving trip up Marmot Basin/Rocky Mountain Ski Resort in Jasper Alberta, Canada. We nordic skied up the down-hill ski runs to the back of the mountain and like you found a spot where the snow was over 2.5 metres deep. We built a snow cave large enough for the four of us and slept there over night. It got down to -20 degrees Celsius overnight but we were very warm. I was amazed how quickly we were able to ski out and back to our parked car compared to the hours it took to cross country ski in. Thank you for this excellent video!
Bravo Andraz!! Big hugs from Texas!🤩😍
your videos are getting better and better, great stuff
Thank you, much appreciated 😊
Mate, that was cool to watch and follow along. You have fun.
Very cool vid! Excellent snow cave
Odlican video, svaka cast :)
Hvala! 😊
Wow what a video! Thanks so much. Take care.
And your skying skills are amazing 😮
Seems good so far. Love the skiing.
Thank you very much! 😊
So respectful his parents must be so proud of him guttzy young man x😅
Such a beautiful place.
Yep another brilliant trip for us to share as always. I wish you'd left the young tree alone though, maybe kept it as a feature. Take great care on these trips mate.
Thank you very much! 🙏
No worries about the tree. It was just a mountain pine bush, and the area is already overgrown with them, so it does more benefit than harm, because the animals have a hard time moving through them :)
Ah that's fine, as you say the place is not short of pine bushes !
Hi. Andraz I love your videos and. You are. Very good and. Strong Young Man it is. Very dangerous too.And. Good. Sciener.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤I. am. From. London 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you for the kind words brother!
Greetings from Slovenia ❤️
Another awesome video!
Thank you!! 😀
Youre kind of a mix between shiey and outdoor boys, I dig it
Greetings from Turkey, you should come here and climb the Erciyes or Ararat mountain!! 🇹🇷🇹🇷♥️♥️
A snow saw makes it much easier to build a cave. You can cut blocks and carry/shovel them out. Saves energy and time... Exped makes a nice one.
Pozdrav
Yeah, it would probably be very helpful, but I always try to make my gear minimalistic, so for now I think I’m just gonna stick to raw man power 🤣🤣
Lep pozdrav tudi tebi!
Such fantastic videos . I love it .
I'm new here. Loved this so much.
Canada
Sehr interessant, Deine Touren. Vielen Dank.
I’m watching this vid and all I can think it ‘my mother would have made me walk to school in that snow’. Excellent vid tho! X
Jesus Andraz you scared me to death skiing through those trees!!!
Amazing video kudos!!! YOUNG MAN😊😊😊😊
Beautiful mate! I live in northern Italy and I see you're from Slovenia, I might have to come and check you country out, I've never been there!
Thank you fellow neighbour!
Yeah, you should definitely visit sometime 😊🙌
Amazing! Real freedom. I like to watch it so I don't have to go ;D
Thank you!
I’m glad I can make that happen for you 🙏😊
Pokazal si en kup užitkov. Privoščim ti jih od srca. Srečno še naprej.
Hvala, mi veliko pomeni! 🙏😊
Srečno tudi tebi :)
Wish I had the skill to do all of that! Greetings from Spain
Fav TH-camr rn 🔥
Thank you, that truly means a lot! ❤️
You really need a saw for cutting into snow, makes it much easier to dig a snow cave. Nice video bud!
That would be a smart investment! Although the snow was pretty soft this time, so it wouldn’t make much of a difference.
And I also didn’t have any more space in my pack… not even for one more chocolate bar 🤣
Your attitude is awesome. I do worry that you don't hydrate enough and or take in enough calories. Peace.
Brilliant ! 😀
Amazing young man ❤️🇬🇧👌
All that crazy snow and not even one snowman built. 😏
