That's awesome! We want to save a few bulbs to plant in spring and pre-soak before planting. 💚

So do the bulbs need to be water after you plant them? Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

Hey there! Great question. You can plant them in moist soil, but don't water them after that, whether in the fall or in the late-winter/early spring. This is so they don't have constant moisture around them and begin to rot. Now, they should be fine if they get natural rain, as long as they are planted in well draining soil, so the soil will eventually dry out or continue to drain and not hold water around the bulbs for too long. In the late-winter to early spring, once you see them start to pop out of the ground, then start watering them on a more consistent basis. This includes stems, leaves, and flower growth and blooming. Hope that helps and answers your quesiton! 👍😊😉

Ranunculus needs to be soaked in cool water for a few hours before planting

Hi there! This can be confusing, because, if you are planting these in the late-winter or early spring, and you want to wake the bulbs up sooner, then yes, soaking them helps. If you don't want to help wake them up sooner and just want to plant them, then you don't have to soak them, you can plant them in moist soil and wait for them to do their thing. Now, if you are planting in the fall, DO NOT soak them. You don't want to wake them up and have them grow prematurely and have cold damage or completely die. So, don't soak if planting in the fall; Do soak if planting in the late-winter or early spring to help wake them up. Hope that is clear. 😊😃👍
