Your clean shaven OHP face, trim down Bella and Dejay's beautiful straight hair. I forgot what her hair was like. I'm sure Houston's curly hair made her shed a tear again. He was already comfy in front of the camera. Don't really remember him ever being shy. Our beautiful, goofy Emma and handsome, still shy Weston sure grew up fast. I'm so happy you have thousands (ha!) of pictures/videos for them and your future grandchildren to look back on. That trip down memory lane was nice. Confessions of a 65 y/o: Prior to 2020 all I knew about TH-cam was that it was the place you went when you needed to learn how to do something. It wasn't UNTIL 2020 that I actually got on to WATCH anything on TH-cam. Consequently, seeing all these flashbacks of the kids, especially little Houston, was awesome! I loved hearing the story about the red bridge, too! I really enjoyed this video!

Wow, with the 2015 flood - crazy. I'd like to know your bass pond's appearance when this happened. Amazing to see Bella - as always in the water - miss her. It was sweet to see the 3 kids so much younger. Bella & Calli hiding under the new bridge. Calli looks concerned.

That was so cool to watch, Daniel because I wasn't following your channel back then and I've never seen a walk over bridge installed before this video!! Houston was adorable (still is), he cracked me up when he got in the camera and said you are catching BIG FISH!! LOL Emmalee and Weston were so cute too!! They've all grown considerably in these 8 years since 2015! And seeing Bella again brought tears to my eyes...You all are very blessed to have such a beautiful property!! That creek is absolutely gorgeous when you have a flood. With a flood it is a river. I thought you had two ways to get to the highway, with the creek portion just being a loop to the entrance. Happy Birthday Daniel---may GOD continue guiding you as you seek HIM daily.

Daniel, I am glad you were blessed with rain. Not only was it beneficial for cleaning the creek but also to revitalize your pastures. Last night we were blessed with 1 3/4 inch of rain. We had fertilized our lawn and the farmer who rents our land applied nitrogen on the corn before the rain. When you are a farmer, you pray for rain so the crops can grow. I always enjoy seeing the running water on your creek and seeing pictures of the kids from years ago. You have such good memories of fishing with the kids. BTW, Houston is a natural on the videos.

I've been wondering how much water you got with that storm. Thanks for digging out the old footage of the old bridge. I'd never seen that wow it was pretty scary looking! And watching the new foot bridge being assembled and put is place was awesome. Loved seeing the very young Houston whispering to the camera while you were fishing. Loved those shots of Huston but it is really amazing how your ancestors would have handled flooding. We have not seen Emily too much as a teenager, but she sure loved fishing when she was young. When she is grown she will always have that skill as she moves through life.

Thank you so much for posting this. My father had a farm when he was living and it had a creek between the house and the highway. I know there was several days I had to wait till the creek went down before I could cross it to get to work. He also had a creek between the house and the barn so when it did rain a lot there was not way to get out. I hope you and your family have a get week and be blessed.

I’ve been going through a little bit of a rough time, and you said that God never said things were gonna just go smoothly, or something to that effect.
