  • Aaaaugh it's been 11 weeks and I can finally fix my slash! I grenaded the rear diff abouut three months ago and I finally got all the parts I need to put it back together. Though after I had finished, I realized I never put any grease in so I had to take it all back apart off camera xD but oh well. Everything went together really great and I am happy with the LEM diff cup and GPM gearbox upgrade. They will give me some peice of mind when bashing. Speaking of which I hope to get a running video out soon!

According to instruction the PTFE washer goes on after the blue washer

I rewatched and that is indeed what I did, unless you mean on the outside of the diff cup, which, thinking about it, might make a little more sense. Who knows lol

nice video but why would you not add geese to the main diff gear in the housing

how to get the dif housing and rear assembly off and back on the truck.. mine feels like im breaking something even though it appears that i have rea=moved all necessary screws? like i even have the swing arms off and all that.

So there are 2 screws on top that go through the chassis into the diff housing, and two on the bottom that go through the skidplate and into the chassis. It should then come off. As I recall, the skidplate that the diff housing sits on is "pegged" into the chassis. Try a small screwdriver to pry up the skidplate before pulling it back. They can be pretty stubborn sometimes

The rims I bought from the rc4wd website as I recall and the diff case was straight from GPM I think. That or Aisatees

Grease on the ring and pinion, and silicone oil inside the diff cup where the spider gears are.
