It's a good question and thank you for asking. "san:" "စမ်း" is a verb (to try or to test) and not a particle. We commonly use it with the particle "ကြည့်" . စမ်းကြည့် တယ် - (you) test/try something. We can even put one more verb in the middle to say you try/test this verb.
For example စမ်း ဝတ် ကြည့် တယ်။ (ဝတ် = to wear) - the meaning is the same as "ဝတ်ကြည့်တယ် "you try on clothes" .
Another example, စမ်း သုံး ကြည့် တယ်။ (သုံး = to use) - "you test using something" , would mean almost the same with "သုံးကြည့် တယ်" & "စမ်းသုံးတယ်"
