Your last slide which includes the sentence of the apple being put in the fridge was a reminder that 'freezer' seems hard to translate/explain... is that right?

Apologies for my late response.
I am not so sure what you mean. But I believe you would like to know how to call the freezer which is usually the upper compartment of refrigerators in Myanmar. (However, nowadays there are newer models with freezers in the lower compartment. :D)
I don't think we have a specific word for freezer. We would usually say အခဲခန်း ( အခဲ - solid / frozen thing) + အခန်း - room ) so
အခဲခန်း - freezer room
We say "အသား (meat) တွေ ကို အခဲခန်းထဲ ထားတယ်"
Sometimes we say ရေခဲသေတ္တာ အပေါ်ခန်း ( upper room) as the freezer room is above most of the time.
အပေါ် - above
