I own both the Snow Maiden and Swan Lake on CD, and I knew that Tchaikovsky reused music from Undina in them, so I was eager to see what I'd recognize! But I certainly was NOT expecting to hear music from his Second Symphony in this!
Excellent quality upload of these fragments! Perhaps they should be referred to as gold nuggets. The music itself is sublime and the performance is exemplary. Many thanks to you.....

Some of this pieces were taken to another works. Tchaikovsky destroyed the score but kept some, as the first melody used in " Snow maiden", and " Andantino Marziale" used in 2nd Symphony Op 17.So they are not unknown.
Thank you for this recording. Rare and beautiful! I would like to know the Sollogub text for the last Undina/Huldbrandt duet which became the famous White Swan pas de deux in “Swan Lake”. Do you have this text please?

This is a great learning experience for me. Thanks for posting this and giving me an opportunity of hearing Undina fragments for the first time.
The last duet was fashioned into the ballet Swan Lake and is know today as the White Swan Pas de Deux.
You don’t happen to have the text for this duet by any chance? Thanks🙏

I'm searching, too, btw...
Isn’t 13:54 in his 5th symphony?
Why Tchaikovsky he destroyed the Beautiful opera?
no se xk Chaikovski destruyo esta opera; pode! k su calidad dramatica no fuera muy buena, pero la musica es preciosa
