Not being allowed to use Lester certainly changed the dynamic of the game. Much less stealth and way more speed and action. I generally prefer the stealth episodes myself, it just makes it more nerve-racking in my opinion, but man once in a while one of these fast paced episodes really hits the spot.
I wasn't paying attention at the beginning of the video but was thinking to myself no Lester would be an interesting change up... And then suddenly he's complaining about not being able to call Lester
yeah probs needs a balance, maybe three calls to lester or something that way its more strategic since he usually calls lester over 5 times in a standard episode 3 is a nice middle ground

This is going to be a tough one to beat, it had EVERYTHING from jumping down of that wall practically onto the Pri to the escape by plane at the end. It's going to be a cracking Discussing the Hunt, I suspect some very strong words were said against you.
yea I loved how at 37:40 he checks and then the second he comes out the three of them appear out of thin air and batter into him like if he were a second earlier or later the outcome wouldve been completely different
This was one of the most action packed, totally random and most entertaining STH episodes. Thoroughly enjoyed this. I can't wait to hear the hunter chat the discuss episode
I think I have seen at least 80% of the STH series, and this one is definitely my favorite. The ending where you barely missed the truck, the hedge jump to the prii, Michaels house, and the close calls you had were amazing!
He has done a few like that, although the escape vehicle location and the specific task before escape varies from your suggestion and the normal STH format.
One of your finest hours. Jumping over a wall and landing on a Pri was brilliant, and the "escape" at the end by flying right over a dive-bombing Eowan was beautiful.
The entire thing had me on the edge of my seat. The unexpectedly pri landing. The narrow escapes. The getting in the car as its being punted. The hangar gunfight. The emergency takeoff that if one second slower would have been the end.
being flung across the street by 3 other cars while halfway through entering the bullet must be one of the most epic STH scene's we've ever seen. This one is definitely going down in the history books as fantastic!

Always a great time watching Survive The Hunts! Would love to see a cross-over with Fail Race and Bay Area Buggs where the team from 5PD RP as the police as the FailRace team do their Hunt Shangaans.
A lot of movie-esque events happened in this sth. Definitely a fun one to watch! But I'd imagine it'd have been a stressful one without Lester. Always nail biting endings!
Taskmasters were great, and I am looking forward to more of those in the future, but a classic STH is just what I needed. And this was an absolutely insane one! On a side note, I think modifying the "no Lester" rule so you can only remove the wanted level from blowing up a Pri would work better. Then any mistakes, or random GTA weirdness, would still trigger the wanted level that you would need to get rid of yourself, but the primary task would not make things harder. Giving up your location from blowing up the Pris already skews things very much in favor of the hunters.
I hope you feel better soon, amigo. One of my closest friends have fibromyalgia and when it flares up it pretty much cripples her, and it's not something I would wish even on my enemies. Stay strong, as best you can.

This has to be one of your best STH I‘ve ever seen. Everything was just perfect. From the car chases to the close calls to your flawless driving! Wish you would do this „no calling Lester“ rule more often. The police also chasing after you made it that much more entertaining and really had you on the edge, I just loved everything about it!

Wow, FailRace Team, you've really outdone yourself. All of you. Amazing chases, some comedic action, nail biting misses. The totality was among THE best STH ever. Or rather: Whoooohooo, the ultimate STH... no Lester, killing Priis, AND leaving the country. Awesome.
This was fantastic, messy, engaging, action-packed and nostalgic! That's what I love about the original format! It's simple, easy to understand and I feel like it makes for a lot of chases (might just be me though 'cause I can't really see why that would be). We also usually like the things we used to have because they feel safer.
Amazing episode. So many insane moments and so much luck that the animation already started when you left Michael's house. I really love that you can't call Lester even though it makes it tough. The strategies to get rid of Cops and Hunters are so different.

First time commenting, this was the best STH ever! Managing to get I think all the Prii's, the hedge jump into one, the run out of Michaels into the hunters, the getaways, capping it all off with a near miss escape in the plane was incredible!

SPOILER!!: Epic Hollywood (er...Vinewood) ending with a skin-of-your-teeth escape by plane has made my day. Even though rent is due today, the first of the month is still my favorite.
That sudden impact just as you get into the bullet after tagging Michael's pri was probably my favorite moment. You probably had 1 extra frame of time before that would've just knocked you over. One thought that occurs to me, I wonder why you don't just back up when the AI does it's little "This guy is going slow, I'm gonna go around him". It'd put you behind the troublesome car and maybe make them suspicious of something else.
Definitely one of the best ones of late! Thank you so much for the return to 'classic STH' ruleset (mostly), I absolutely love this version of it the most! Also - I was admittedly not liking the idea of 'no Lester' when you first said it - but after witnessing it it's actually a GREAT addition to this ruleset, it dramatically increases the action! You have *no* idea how satisfying it is to see a proper airport escape after so many past failures of such a stunt... This must be one of the sweeter victories yet, and as always an absolutely wild survive the hunt!

Okay, this was a really intense one! Also with some of the best STH moments I ever witnessed yet. The jump on the Prii and then getting into your car just the very last second at Michaels house were just insane. Also the plane escape in the end was just glorious, you really got them completely!

Hunters having to not get seen by the police breaking laws while trying to hunt down Alex in 24 hours would be cool to see.

Have watched a no chase STH right before, coming directly into a chase here (and the episode in total) was kind of a gift.

Don't discount the effect providing these videos for those that are going through tough times. It's great entertainment, and provides a dose of lightheartedness in difficult times. Okay, this was a really intense one! Also with some of the best STH moments I ever witnessed yet. The jump on the Prii and then getting into your car just the very last second at Michaels house were just insane. Also the plane escape in the end was just glorious, you really got them completely!
