Question for someone who missed it in earlier videos: Normally, what does the "gentleman's agreement" between Alex and his usual fellow racers such as yourself entail?
I'd just like to point out: even without the gentleman's agreement, and on Extreme damage, you people are vastly less destructive than the hard AI on Realistic damage.
AI is just mean! 😭
The AI has no sense of self preservation.
Aye, that's the part I find frustrating. That it doesn't care if it even finishes the race as long as the player doesn't.
@@CyarSkirata Honestly I wouldn’t even mind if it just focused the player/most threatening person in the game, because as they are it seems like they just attack each other so recklessly that you’ll be down to only human after the first couple of laps.
@@PhoenixStriker1 Personally, unless I set it up as a team race (in which case they attack everyone, including their own team), I have pretty much the opposite experience; they happily coexist with each other, and instead only attack me.
That last race, with LeatherCap fighting for their life against the monster...

The grand duke is a gnarly stupid strong beast of a car. That thing used to be able to humiliate anyone in limos on the right hands. I don't know if they nerfed it though
This is the kind of damage we need in gta 6! Pretty realistic but a single impact doesn’t usually disable a car like beamng

Yea extreme damage in Wreckfest basically means your wheels are held on with bubble gum and dental floss. I've seen paper mache that can handle more force than wheels on this game sometimes lol
Ive lost wheels just pushing people on this difficulty. The cars just fall apart like its ducktaped together
@@shawnmccurdy6732 Yea myth is that an opponent once looked at my wheel too hard and it fell apart from the sheer anxiety of it lol But seriously, it is a bit comical how they went so realistic with the damage but yet so unrealistic with just how durable giant pieces of forged metal actually are lol

Honestly, the multiplayer Wreckfest games I've joined have had cleaner racing than any other online racing game I've tried.
No matter what the Failrace crew does on Wreckfest, i'll always watch! No rules is just pure chaos, so thanks to the FRFC for providing this quality entertainment!

If you're wondering why cars can survive for so long on extreme damage, it's because there's no health meter and they're only considered wrecked when both front wheels become detached (losing both front wheels also classes as a wreck on the other damage modes as well).
Or both rear wheels (changed from before where only one counted you as dead)
I've only played this game years ago but the fact that the cars magically still move with the engine at 90° and a curved engine block makes me hate it already. Real banger cars take huge hits and still run but no engine can transmit power if the driveshaft is bent or if the block is even a tiny bit deformed 🥴

@@isaacsrandomvideos667 apparently it's still being updated on a monthly basis. I think the updates are small, but it's still alive, which is nice. Always good to see a dev team still actually caring about a game, especially since the game is coming up on 10 years old in 2024
