My Mom's favorite Artist too! She had so many albums and adored Cat Stevens/Yusuf! I have all the albums still and my Mom would be so glad to know he is still singing. She passed away at the age of 47, so very young...I am 51 now and find it hard to comprehend how young she really was when she left this cruel world that crushed her so...her Music was everything to her! So glad your Family feels the same way about this Wonderful Man and his Beautiful voice that lifts up so many!

He got to my mother’s records before I got a chance he got a record player for his birthday, his first albums he grabbed were her cat Steven’s albums. I was frazzled I wanted them lol, Thats honestly the only reason he wanted a record player, an now he has tons of old records and plays a bass guitar. Lol. Your voice has not changed since the days of "Morning Has Broken" and "Moonshadow" - my personal favorites from that time. 😊 Still the same soothing, clear tone that is instantly recognizable and that could transport one to tranquility regardless of what else was happening around them.
I remember reading/ hearing (somewhere in 80's I think) that you had converted to Islam years ago, had stopped recording, and moved out of the country. I recall feeling sad thinking that no more music would be coming from you. Fast forward to tonight - just now - when I came across you singing this beautiful song. WOW. What a treat! Shukran!
