This is very good. Way better than a lot of songs I hear people listening to. I'm a Christian, Catholic to be specific, but I love this song. The voice is beautiful. Reminds me of the deacon's voice when he sings at church. Truly, this must be so beautiful because it's about God.
I've asked why this has been flagged but unfortunately doesn't look as if those who haven't got a log in will be able to see this. This is the kind of attitude that stops bridges being built and people learning about each other.
As far as this video, just accept that this is a beautiful song, not made to force anyone to believe anything, just made to teach his own child his own faith... no different than any parent would do.
i'm a part of the arab and western society. And i'm a muslim.And i love my religion and i love my western identity along with it. people must understand that islam does not represent bad clothing and violence. Islam is more than that, it's about peace and serenity .and it's about respecting every other religion. and Yosuf islam has accomplished that because alot of people loved him before converting and alot loved him after converting.

Why is it that people can't accept that everyone comes from differing experiences and upbringings. Because of this, we can't blame each other for having different faiths, beliefs, religions. It makes sense that we do have differences, and that each individual would be devoted to his or her faith, no matter what it is.

i hope one day all barriers will be broken and - even within the different religions - there will be respect and peace. i do know muslim people, and like kmapar already said, it is the absolute opposite of the american media portrait. although i don't believe in any specific "god", i respect those who do so, and that it gives them strenght and a better perspective on life in our hateful world today. by the wa: yusuf is a truly amazing musician, both as cat stevens and as yusuf islam.
