Oreste Torres that’s quite the paragraph my friend. Clearly you have been greatly misinformed about Islam and Allah. I don’t blame you for your level of ignorance truly we live in a period in time of great misinformation. However what I will not do is insult your religion. I may disagree with the teachings of Christianity but I am not one to disregard your faith and throw out petty insults. Tell me which one of us follows the true teachings of Christ again? My friend I urge you to look into the Quran and Islam with a fresh and clean mindset disregard the lies free your heart and truly ask God almighty for the truth. Let us come to terms and know that God all mighty is One he neither is begotten nor does he beget and their is nothing unlike on to him. Let us come to terms and know that Jesus Christ was indeed a mighty Prophet and Messenger sent down to the lost sheep of Israel. He is not the Son of God for God has no need for a son. I don’t think TH-cam comments is the place for such a discussion, but inshallah if you would like to have a more respectful and open dialogue I would be open to it. We may disagree sure but we will both appreciate the beliefs of the other without insulting and lying. Inshallah

@@abdallah6757 Funny you call the truth insults but I call it for what it is, truth. You know the truth will always hurt right specially when you are following a book that was written 600 years after the risen Christ walked the earth. Also if you don't want me to speak about islam and its lies then don't talk about Christians and Jesus in your corrupt counterfeit book twisting and changing the story of Jesus' death and ressurection. That's hypocrisy telling me don't talk or insult your religion while you people did it first talking about ours and to make it worse changing and creating your own version of the gospel. Jesus is not just a man or a prophet because no prophet or man is in heaven right now and one day come back and judge the world. Only God has that power and authority but you people are so blind and deceived you will eat anything satan throws on your table including that corrupt book you people follow. If islam is the true way then why are muslims coming and migrating to Christian founded nations. If its so great why are muslims fleeing their sharia based nation. The fact is that its not. Freedom and truth can inly be found in Christinity and Christian countries like America. Deny that then you're a fool. Religion of peace? Just go to the middle east and witness what this religion brought to its people and opposing views. Death! That's its fruit. You morons can't even get along with each other. Its not an insult. It's the truth!

    • @abdallah6757
      @abdallah6757 3 ปีที่แล้ว +79

Oreste Torres ah yes blessed is the Truth. No prophet has ever claimed the trinity. Not Abraham not Jesus not Mohamed not Noah not Moses not Jacob or John the Baptist not Joseph nor Jonas not David or Soloman and the list goes on. You say The Quran was brought down 600 years after Christ and this somehow makes Islam a false religion tell me what was the timeline between Moses and Jesus peace and blessings be upon them both? I’d say a lot more than 600 for sure. That’s a very flawed way of looking at it. You also say your a man of truth yet all you have written down is false information. Lies and more lies. The devil Certainly has one of us fooled. Here’s another truth for you since you claim to call it like it is lol. Every soul shall taste death than all is revealed so regardless of wether we agree or not in matters of faith at least we can both agree on that Alxamdulilah. As far as Middle Eastern countries and political wars go I gotta ask have you actually ever set foot in a middle eastern country? Like really have you. If so I find it hard to believe because your perception is greatly flawed. The images the media displays is not true. Sure there are places today that are torn apart by civil unrest and war, famine and other great tragedies but you sound like a smart person I’m sure you know that. Also you do realize most of the western countries your saying ppl are fleeing to are secular states right? The US and Europe are not Christian nations as you so elegantly put. They do have Christian origins yes but they didn’t become what they are today because of the Bible lol rather it’s because of man made lawns such as the constitution and the likes. Look I get it you’ve been fed a load of crap about Islam and you really think you’re on the right path. As I said earlier I urge you to look into the religion without the negative perceptions you harbor towards it. I would love to have an open dialogue as this back and forth is truly pointless. We can at least learn from each other. You might not convert because God guides whom he wills but you would have greater appreciation for a faith that is 1.8 billion people strong around the world. Inshallah let’s talk if you truly care about the truth as you say you have nothing to lose or worry about. What do you say?

I love how he says that the Qur’an points us back to the signs all around us of God’s love. That is the beauty of Islam.
The way Russell shows so much respect allowing Yusuf to explain his views is very much missing in our social media arena. How refreshing to hear a decent conversation between a Muslim and a non Muslim.

@Smoke Me A Kipper Every spiritual tradition on earth is against squandering the human libido / sexual energy - this is not something exclusive to any one religion.
Masculinity/femininity is a spectrum - sometimes there are males with dominant feminine energy and females with dominant male energy and this is part of the beauty of diversity in God's creation.
No one is placing a restriction on love - but limits are placed on the direction of sexual energy as it is the life force / sacred. Sodomy is illegal as it is unnatural to expel the life force/seed into a passage of excretion/waste.
The sexual act / union of male/female is in essence a spiritual act (touching the tree of life).
It is wrong to assume every male with dominant female energy is a sodomite/anti-natalist.

      @SoulofSpeech 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

Smoke Me A Kipper Here is a book you can read about true Muslims who lectured their Allied officers during the first world wars about the rights of the prisoners of war.
“Captured prisoners of war should be taken to a place that has been prepared for them, they should not harm them or torture them with beatings, deprive them of food and water, leave them out in the sun or the cold, burn them with fire, or put covers over their mouths, ears and eyes and put them in cages like animals. Rather they should treat them with kindness and mercy and feed them well.”
Not all Muslims believe in taking away human rights - even when they were in the middle of a war.
      unknownfallen.com/product/muslims-in-ww1/
You can see in the image both Christians and Muslims praying together in the middle of a war - and people today can’t get our act together outside of war time to show respect and humanity to each other?

Polygamy is banned in a lot of Western countries, and those who are found as repeate offenders can be jailed. So how exactly is the more tolerance?
Secondly, Islam does not impinge in the private lives of Homosexuals. Somthing that the link you posted does not mention. Islamic countries have laws, and even they are only done in public such as sexual indecency is when the law can punish, just as one may do Polygamy in secret, the law can't punish anyone. Its very simple if you want to live a different moral life you can go live in the West. In fact that's what westerners tell Muslims. If you dont accept the law of the land, then go live in a Islamic country. Its that simple.

I remember my fathers record of Cat Stevens at the age of 5. I remember listening to his music and I remember gazing at the album cover. I was raised by a man who was a free spirit and had no real religious following and a mother who was more Buddhist than anything. I always had a connection to God. God let his presence be known to me in my earliest memories so I never once questioned His existence. I never thought I would ever belong to a religion, because I never found anything that resonated within me. It wasn't until my 40's that I found the Quran and Islam. I found my home, and the child who thought they would never fit in or belong, had finally found something that resonated within my soul as truth.

Agreed, All are born in a state of Fitra: In Soorah Al-A'raaf, Verses 172-173; ALLAH explained that when He created Adam, He caused all of Adam's descendants to come into existence and took a pledge from them saying, Am I not your Lord? To which they all replied, " Yes, we testify to It:'
ALLAH then explained why He had all of mankind bear witness that He is their creator and only true God worthy of worship. He said, "That was In case you (mankind) should say on the day of Resurrection, "Verily we were unaware of all this." That is to say, we had no idea that You ALLAH, were our God. No one told us that we were only supposed to worship You alone. ALLAH went on to explain That it was also In case you should say, "Certainly It was our ancestors who made partners (With ALLAH) and we are only their descendants; will You then destroy us for what those liars did?" Thus, every child is born with a natural belief in ALLAH and an inborn inclination to worship Him alone called in Arabic the "Fitrah".
If the child were left alone, he would worship ALLAH in his own way, but all children are affected by those things around them, seen or unseen.
The Prophet (PBUH) reported that ALLAH said, "I created my servants in the right religion but devils made them go astray". The Prophet (PBUH) also said, "Each child is born in a state of "Fitrah", then his parents make him a Jew, Christian or a Zoroastrian, the way an animal gives birth to a normal offspring. (Collected by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim).

Never understood that verse until recently but it'e sad how Allah mentions it repeatedly in the Quran. The arrogance is astounding indeed

Bless you, you are on the right track😊Here is what happened 2 weeks ago (may 2023); I was in a hospital in Tokyo where I live. I saw a Japanese lady who just passed away 5 minutes ago. Surprisingly, she had a little smile on her face! which was unusual to her Japanese relatives and friends, but she actually converted to Islam a few years ago and died while listening to Quran!! Later on, In her funeral (6 days after her death) she had a bigger smile and her skin was absolutely normal an pinkish as if she is just asleep!!! Even her buddhist friends said (this is a miracle!!!!). Thus, I assure you you are on the right path. just keep praying 5 times a day and don’t worry about a thing! Allah is taking good care of us, here and in the hereafte Insha Allah 🌿🌿

      Dr. Gary Miller explains how Muslims follow Jesus better than the Christians;
      th-cam.com/video/wc-xJ42rBgw/w-d-xo.html
      1. Jesus taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29.
Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171.
      2. Jesus didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7, and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145.
      3. Jesus greeted with the words “as salaamualaikum” (Peace be with you) in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way.
      4. Jesus always said “God Willing” (inshallah), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur’an verses 18:23-24.
      5. Jesus washed his face, hands, and feet before praying. The Muslims do the same.
      6. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible offerd prayer with their head to the ground (see Matthew 26:39). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse 3:43.
      7. Jesus had beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.
      8. Jesus followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an
      verses 3:84, and 2:285.
      9. Jesus’ mother Maryam dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59.
      10. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible fasting up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6, Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1- Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards.
      11. Jesus taught to say “Peace to this house” when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also greet with "as salaamu alaikum” (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61.
      12. Jesus was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham that it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad said, “The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.”
      13. Jesus spoke aramaic and called God ”Elah”, which is pronounced the same as “Allah”. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian.
The Aramaic ”Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the same.
The Aramaic “Elah” is derived from the Arabic “Allah”, and it means “GOD”. “Allah” in Arabic also means ”GOD”, the Supreme GOD Almighty. You can easily see the similarity in their pronunciation so this concludes that the God of Jesus is also the God of the Muslims, of all mankind, and all that exist.

Suddenly a big wave came pull me. I put my hand in the sand. I was still moving towards the ocean. I grab onto a big rock. I turn around & look back. I knew if I let go I would drown. I let go & I said if there is a God Please save me. I promise I would do good deeds on 🌍 earth. The wave pushed me to shores. I crawl till I felt safe away from the ocean. Turn around set & said Who created this ocean. I studied all major faith, Jewish, Hindu, christian. I sincerely wanted to be a christian. In the Last I studied Islam. Where in the start I felt really burned the saying of God about other faith. Then further I read Quran, it all made sense. I had to talk to myself, should I became christian & ignore the truth. Or should I become Muslim. Follow the final words of God. I choose to be MUSLIM. I sacrifice all I wanted to be, a singer, drinker, dancing, actor. I choose to be a worker, a worshipper of God.

Islam has more rules and rituals than any religion I can think of. They even tell you how many times to pray, which direction to pray (which is strangely to Saudi Arabia) and you have to follow a praying routine. I dont understand Yusef's point. I have an issue with all the hate that comes out of Islam, the treatment of non-muslims, the treatment of women and the extreme violence.

    • @30251
      @30251 3 ปีที่แล้ว +38

@@tubester4567 You see it as a stringent set of rules, but we see it as a liberating and complete way of life. Muslims pray five times a day which might sound taxing, but it's our chance to connect with our Creator and disconnect from the material, two-dimensional nature of this world. The prayer is linked to the rising and setting of the sun, like many religious rituals which are as ancient as mankind itself. Just look at what those druids get up to in Stonehenge during the summer solstice!
In the prayer, our bodies and souls are connected, and the prayer (salah, which literally means "connection" in Arabic) reflects this as we prostrate and press our heads to the Earth. Also, we don't face "Saudi Arabia" but rather the Ka'aba which is in Mecca, so that as an Ummah ("nation") we are all united and facing the same direction. But as the Qur'an also insists that "To God belongs the East and West" and also, "Wherever you turn, there is the Face of God".
I don't wish to debate or argue but I just wanted to shed some light on a few misconceptions I read in your comment.

In order to effectively experience the changes from affirmation, two conditions must be in place:
The first condition is to eliminate your internal resistance to affirmation. This was covered in the previous video. If you haven't seen it yet, keep watching this video for now and then watch the previous one.
The second condition is a ‘step - by - step’ approach. In other words, you have to make affirmations that are phased out.
No matter how much of your internal resistance to affirmation may have been diminished, negative thoughts and feelings can still remain.
And most critically, they can interfere with your affirmations.

Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -
[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -
[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?
Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.
And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.

Try Christianity. There’s no guarantee of Heaven in Islam. Allah does not think to pay for our sins. In Christianity God becomes a man (Jesus) and lives perfectly under His own law. The wages for sin is death, yet Christ, with no sin, was put to death. This cancelled the debt we owed to God and satisfied His wrath (Yes, wrath because God hates sin) but He dealt with it on the cross making a way for us. In Islam your ticket to the afterlife (the good one) is based on if you’re good enough… in Christianity your ‘ticket’ to heaven is based on what Jesus did… he paid the price and all you need to do is believe that he did (Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:8-10)

I went to her, and I did not know what she wanted. She took me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house, and I was panting. When I got my breath back, she took some water and wiped my face and head, and led me into the house. There were some woman of the Ansar inside the house, and they said: 'With blessings and good fortune (from Allah).' (My mother) handed me over to them and they tidied me up. My Islamiyat teacher who taught us the pillars of Islam in our religion studies class in school gave me his album (his album of Islam after he converted) when I was in 3th grade. I loved it. It made me fell in love with the words that describes Allah and Islam. And as a kid I used to sing along every single day and memorized the whole album. She was a great teacher and a beautiful memory that she gifted me. After all those years,, even though I hadn't listened to the album again , the songs are living rent free in my mind. In my spare times, while traveling and seeing nature, or indulging Allah's grace, I can hear it in my mind. Thank you Mr. Yusuf Cat Steven, Thank you so much, you have no idea how your words have impacted on me and my love for Islam. I am born Muslim, but I also became Muslim by chose. because studied it and other religions. May Allah bless your soul. And thank you Russell, I never thought in a million years, you would bring him on. Wow, you are amazing! I love you Yusuf Cat Stevens in Islam:)) I don't know none of your other albums, or anything about you, just that my teacher said your name Yusuf Al-Islam, but that album that says Allah is one is closet to my heart. @David Mack Muslims believe that Prophet Isa or Jesus never died but was raised to heaven and he will be resurrected and come back as a guidance to humankind (his resurrection is also considered a sign of the day of judgement). The apostle that disobeyed the prophet Jesus was killed and crucified instead of him and God saved Prophet Jesus. God is all-powerful so he can create a man without a father, the prophet's birth from a Virgin woman Mary was a miracle so we believe that Prophet Jesus is not the son of God. Like the Torah is different from the bible (both divine holy books that Muslims believe in), God sent various books to His people as guidance to mankind that was suitable for its time. The bible has been altered and changed all over the years, and while Muslims believe in the Bible that was revealed to the Prophet Jesus and his people at that time, it hasn't been preserved in its true and original form and isn't as reliable. If you read the Quran and the Bible, you'll see similar stories of Prophet Yusuf/ Joseph, Prophet Nuh/Noah, Prophet Musa/Moses and others. The Quran has been preserved in its true original form which is in itself a miracle from God and hence, we believe that it is the final message from God and that Prophet Muhammad is the final messenger of God. We believe that Prophet Isa/Jesus is God's messenger and that the bible has been revealed to mankind as one of God's books and we believe in it and respect it.

One question that bugs me, is when non Muslims ask: "why do you Muslims try to convert everyone to Islam? WE don't try to convert YOU to any other religion! "
If you one hundred percent believe a certain road ends in a catastrophic fatal danger, wouldn't you try, by all your means, to dissuade someone from walking it? I m not discussing the veracity of your belief, but the legitimacy of your trying helping people. Yes, this can be dangerous with all the fanatics out there, believing anything, but that's how it is, you should work hard and let aside all prejudices to find the truth ...and it's true that every single human will have a sign if he asks god for it. But then it's all up to how genuine you're in searching for the truth

True contentment comes in the service of something more. Took care of my mum 7 years and lost my job = felt blissful n protected. Yes zero money in the banks and friends leaving you. She had a stroke and we were poor to afford nurses etc
After she recovered went to work at a Fortune 500 company for 7 years. Money and women but i was cheated on, backstabbed, had diabetes and then a stroke. I had money but i was lonely and sad.
God was teaching me. I had to learn by experiencing these polar opposites in materialism.
Not a day gone by that i did not miss the 7 years in service of my late mum. I am glad to experience this lesson to find the true purpose: to be in service of a better good more than myself. To always be a student to learn

Born into Episcopalianism, brought up as Christian Scientist, lost my belief, after personal tragedy re-discovered my belief, became a Presbyterian and a church school teacher, left the church but still consider myself as Christian and I find God everywhere. Pray daily for many different reasons, in many different places. The Golden Rule is key and universal. Many question if there is a God. I did that too. But the concept of supreme intelligence on another plane and a sense of time outside of our limited scope fits me. I loved Cat Stevens and am delighted to have re-discovered him. 🕌 🕌 🕌 🕌 🕌 🕌 🕌 🕌 🕌
      In Islam in Quran
      -------
      Earth a spherical body
      Allah says
      (39:5)
"He created the heaven and the earth with the Truth; He rolls the night over the daytime, and He rolls the daytime over the night, and He has subjected the sun and the moon, each of them running to a stated term. Verily He is et The Ever-Mighty, The Superb Forgiver."
The Arabic word "Kura" means ball; its verb "Yukawer يُكَوِّرُ" means to make into a ball. The Quran says that the overlapping of the night and the day makes a ball (sphere)
Arabic dictionaries cite that yukawwiru يكور is like you hold a ball and roll a turban around it over and over again
🌹👉 The Quran says that Earth has a diameter (diameter is simply twice the radius).
[Quran 55,33] O company of Jinn and man, escape the diameters (Aktar in Arabic اقطار) of the Heavens and the Earth if you can, You won't escape without authority.
Diameter in Arabic is Kutr قطر. Its plural is Aktar اقطار. Radii and diameters are properties of circles or spheres only. This conforms with the previus verse, to make into a ball [Yukawer يُكَوِّرُ].
      -------'
For centuries it was believed that Earth is fixed and the sun, moon and planets revolve around it. However 1400 years ago the Quran said that not only the sun and moon but even Earth moves in a designated path:
“It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law).” [Quran 36:40]
Interpretation scholars say all of the celestial bodies are included
Ibn Hazm (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
      ■■
The proofs of the Qur’an and Sunnah indicate that it is round. End quote
      ■■
      Ibn Katheer said:
That is, He spread it out, prepared it, made it stable and made it firm by means of the mountains.
      Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 8/247
Similarly, the verse “Have We not made the earth as a bed” [an-Naba’ 78:6] means that it is spread out and prepared for you and for your benefit, so that you can cultivate it, build dwellings in it and travel through it.
      Ibn Katheer said:
That is, it is prepared for people in such a way that they can live in it, and it is firm, stable and steady.
      Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 8/307
      ▪︎▪︎▪︎
🌹👉👉👉Also, The Quran says that Earth has a diameter (diameter is simply twice the radius).
This conforms with the previus verse, to make into a ball [Yukawer يُكَوِّرُ]
🌹👉The rotation of Earth is slowing down, that is, days are getting longer. The Quran says that Allah persistently asks more of the day and more of the night, that is, for the day to get longer:
[Quran 7.54] And your Lord, Allah, who created the Heavens and the Earth in six days and then settled on the Throne. [Allah] Covers the night with the day, asks for it persistently; and the sun and the moon and the stars enslaved by His orders. Is this not His creation and His command? Blessed be Allah the Lord of all the worlds.
If God asks more of the day and more of the night then this means the days are getting longer. Physics wise this means that the rotation of Earth should be slowing down. However this is what it really turned out to be: The rotation of Earth is indeed slowing down.
[Quran 50.7] And the earth We have spread it out (والارض مددناها), and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely pairs (of plants).
The Quran says that God spread out the Earth 'والارض مددناها' meaning increase in surface area during formation. 'Madda' in Arabic means 'spread out', however it was mistranslated to 'flat'.
Flat in Arabic is "musattah مسطح" and its verb (to make flat) is "sataha سطح" ..however neither were used in the entire Quran. The Quran says that God spread out Earth, it is made for us to be flat but it's round as mentioned above
The Quran mentions that it's rotating
      🌹👉👉👉Does earth run into space?
Modern science informed us that the moon is moving around the earth in an oval, or elliptical orbit. Also the Earth and the rest of the planets, revolve in oval, or elliptical orbit around the sun.
“He it is who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; ALL travel along swiftly in their celestial spheres.” [Quran 21:33]

Born and grown in Rome, i embraced Islam in 1991 at the age of 23.
I came to Islam through Malcolm X and fell in love with the Qur'an when i first read it.
Never looked back, although i had to navigate and struggle, to find my place and balance, with all the different understandings of Islam out there and the different groups all competing for followers. Now i know i am just a Muslim without identifying with any specific group.
