It’s illegal to take steroids in the British military. The Compulsory Drug Testing (CDT) are all over steroid users. Any rank caught abusing steroids or recreational drugs are dishonourably discharged. I am on my 19th serving year and I have passed every single CDT. Ignorant asshole!!!!!

Great video, I'm not even joining this regiment but I needed to see how Sit Ups were actually done, as I can do planks and all sorts of other abdominal exercises but not a full sit up, which is humbling. I want to join as a medic but can't even do a sit up. Hence why I'm here!
that's how its done! the pti's make it look like nuthink! don't take shortcuts like he said train the correct hard way in turn will ultimately pay off for your prmc ect!
Although i want to become a US Marine because I’m an American, I see this test not only a great way to test yourself but to improve your overall fitness because you’re pacing your ROM and it’s simply training time under tension until you hear that beep. I see guys in the military cheat their reps and get away with their poor forms and considering i never been to Recruit training yet, I’ve seen poolees get away with kipping up on pull-ups and lift their elbows to use momentum to do crunches which is cheating (I’m sure that doesn’t fly in boot camp or in the fleets considering there are plenty of true leaders that check their Marines on that) so I believe this is a true test for your fitness and you can’t cheat on this and get away with it. There were times I’ve gotten away with kipping and I’m certainly not proud of it.
Question, did you fellas put an advert in the paper or something? "normie needed to be videoed failing literally every exercise, any normie will do, payment will be in kind, we will defend your family should the worst happen",.
Jarno Datema Royal Marines do a lot of work with Dutch Marines. Hope it goes well with your training and if you get in, you might do some training with us sometime.
I've been bracing my feet against the underside of a sofa lol they're flat though. Is this incorrect training? There's a guy holding your feet down on the test right?
Joe Hird it’s recommended you train without any support to hold your feet in place as it builds your core stronger and reduces your body being used to support, I’ve done the Commando Look at Life course at CTCRM which is a PRMC but a sight hit easier
Locked feet engages the Hip Flexors more. They do pin your feet at the PRMC, but they recommend training without, because your abs will tire hours before your hip flexors.
Hi sir please am really interested in joining the royal marine commandos and want to know if it’s possible to join as a commonwealth citizen and at what age can I be enlisted into the service thanks and hopping to hear from you soon
Commonwealth citizens can join at 18 or above . You can read more here www.royalnavy.mod.uk/careers/joining/get-ready-to-join/royal-marines-commando/am-i-eligible
On the pull up part its says you can’t kick your feet but that fckn monster was bringing his legs out almost the same as the guy with the high vis on (not at all saying he’s in the wrong) just wondering on how you actually do this and bang them out like your attacking that bar without kicking legs out or anything at all ? I’m guessing it’s just natural when you do it... ive been practicing my pull ups for the ROP but still I’m bit worried about em just for that reason on the legs also with properly banging them pull ups out with power like that unit was in a way hahaha
After rewatching the vid a few times I can kinda see it now high vis dude kinda donkey kicks slightly while King Kong just uses his hips haha silly me 🙄😂
He makes the pull ups look like a fucking joy ride
Yep, a piece of piss.
Absolute unit. In awe of the size of him. Big respect for our Royals.
During the pull up bit the bar looks in more pain than the guy
And after 15 agonising reps, the bar died
Looks painfully like a British Rambo.
That one pull up had about the same energy i put into ten of mine 😂
Normal gravity is too easy for that man.
That guy is a monster... almost rips the bar off...
the size of that guy...
Borris.gov yes all from vitamins and mineral water lol
I don’t take vitamins and only drink tap water 👍🏼 It’s called getting off your arse, exercising and eating correctly
Vitamin *S*

The PTI isn't doing pull-ups, he's pulling the 🌍 down to him!
Don't want to join the royal marines but I might start training like I am though. Damn that looks tough.
Gilly was my PTI in training.....animal of a man! Loved telling us about his bag-off dits from the weekend
What a monster

My left ear enjoyed this video 🥰
🤣
I’m gonna try these tips because I’d probably get stronger if I had form like that
Y'all didn't notice that dead guy at 0:12
Jack F Vlogs I think those people have to be there to make sure you go all the way down for a correct press up.
No it's definitely a dead guy.
Jack Fillingham I
@Ferg.16 wow the joke flew over your head😂
Ferg.16
He was making a very obvious joke. Who's the idiot now?
don't let the crossfitters see those pullups or they will cry in horror and pain about their (lack of) technique
Crossfitters are the type of people who say 'Oh we don't actually own a TV"
American soldier here, I have absolute admiration for Royal Marines, and that guy is BUILT!!!
Thank you buddy, train hard, fight easy.
Stay safe out there 👊🏽
Massive respect to these guy's 💪

gotta respect the man for dem gainz

The fitness training is motivating
I had that PTI for my PRMC
+Jason Jones How'd you do?
Dontforgetyerauldarse ahhahahahahahaha Fuck sake
Yeah how'd you get on. Did you pass?

Compare that 2 Guys...one is a muscle monster-the other????looks like me🤣🤣🤣
When you’re all grown up you may look like me. Remember to eat your greens 🤣
Some of us aren’t 110kg of pure muscle
You don’t need to be 110kg of solid muscle to join
Dude that wasnt a pull up that was a full muscle up with a hold on top 😭😭
I want to become a Dutch marine (cloggy), and i heard training is fairly similar so i watch this instead

I can pump out 90-100 pushups but doing them to that 2 second cadence kills me. I can make the full 60 but goddamn it's an effort.
Good pointers!
Crossfit looks the polar opposite of all these tips
Ikr 😂
So are sit ups better for exercise if you DON'T lock your feet in??
Locked feet engages the Hip Flexors more. They do pin your feet at the PRMC, but they recommend training without, because your abs will tire hours before your hip flexors.
"arms like Garth"
No mate, Garth has arms like me 😂
Cheers lads
Turn subtitles on at the start lol.
Hahahaha
Have worked with the RFA, can confirm they are definitely the “wrong reason”. Lol 😂

Phwour!!!!!😋
I can't even do 1 pull up and my dream is joining the royal marines
Best you pick another dream then.
@@JammyDodger45 I've started rap music it's also a great hobby of mine 🙂 but I respect all who is serving our country ❤🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
@@BingBong724 - we let Rappers in the Royal Marines too buddy!
@@JammyDodger45 That's great :) x
How did his arms get so big of he does body weight training ??
1. Probably does weights aswell
2. Probably does hundreds of pullups/dips every day
This commando only does body weight exercises and uses no weights.
Imagine doing your best when u applied here and they used ur clip as the bad examples. t_t
Audio only coming from one speaker, due to military budget cuts.
UDT/seal
His arms are bigger than my legs
Situps are such an ineffective exercise...you sports scientists...
roids
Possibly haemorrhoids from the deep squatting, but no chemicals.
Thanks for the compliment 👍🏽
What a complete melt!
