Life of a “music student” ep.1 シ♪ | The University of Manchester

Hi Everyone!! I’m Kwan, currently a first year, first study singer at The University of Manchester.
In this clip, I introduce your to the course modules in first year, Ad Solem (uni chamber choir), Workshops, Outreach choir, Marie Consort, Practice Rooms and MUMS Winter Ball.
What I did not mention in the clip is that in uni, there are a number of masterclasses every week. My favourite ones are conducting masterclass with Mark Elder at the RNCM and Ellie Slorach at the UoM. I also personally love Manchester because it is a big city where loads of concerts, opera and musicals are performed which always keep me learning and being inspired.
