Good content and delivery but handful of filler words such as “like you know” or “like” drag down. Start to deliver without fillers or edit them out and it will sound a notch higher. Good luck.
Very informative, thanks, can u guide my son ?, he is now in India , he has gone through this this situation from last two yrs , he didn’t get internship, and layoffs two times , at last his visa expired , than he had to come to India. So can u guide him pls , How is India s job market ? He is depressed with this situation Pls he need a mentor.
You are really a true mentor for students mam, hats off to you can you just explain which course has better job scope in US, MS in business analytics or computer science?
This video is really helpful, but I'm confused about one thing: you said that we should apply for jobs from Day 0. So, should one apply with their last job experience and education? Reg. Master's, we just say enrolled or not mention it? Would the companies consider the candidate only for jobs that are of the level of their previous education or work ex.? If selected, the student drops out of the program?
How much did the Silicon Valley banks going broke affect Indian students, was this a targeting set-up. It is smart to have helpful videos like this to educate the Indian diaspora. Communication is very important.
I'm in India (B Tech grad). I did everything mentioned in the video but got very little response from companies. Failed to crack job interviews and got stuck at a job with an unsatisfactory salary (software role but still). Whenever I ask someone for suggestions (reached out to most of my contacts), it's something that I have already heard before and implemented. Messaged 100+ people on Linkedin IN 2024 ALONE. Messaged 1000+ people in total on Linkedin. Also I'm losing touch with interview skills due to not getting interview calls (mock interviews help only to an extent). If anyone has constructive suggestions to tell or is willing to help, kindly do let me know.
1-2% response rate.. total 3 interview calls in 2024. And with MNCs, 0% response rate. If this is my situation in India, will I face an inclusive and positive experience if I go for MS in the USA? I'm already assuming the worst. I have never been afraid of competition, but if I don't face a constructive experience, it's impossible for me to improve myself.
++ lack of leadership qualities.. I read Indian education introduced by the British is designed to generate only good workers and not thinkers/leaders..
😂cuz in india people get less salary. And even u get high salary then ur tax money goes to politicians pocket. Life style in india is shit. Poor traffic, bad roads, garbage and shit on road, overcrowded public transport, Nepotism in film industry, arts, politics, business field hence except white collar skill jobs there are no jobs for high salary. Only thing is good in india is cheap public transport and healthcare system.
SImple yet informative video beautifully explained. Can you give me your input on a person doing Masters in Biomedical Engineering after completing the Btech in Biomedical in India? Is it extremely costly and is the job potential worth the money spent?
if you are planning to come to US go for computer science, or Masters in EE (electronics ) or Data Analytics. don't go for Information Technology- saturated with too many H1Bs from India. In the SCM field, in my work place out of about 40 plus people not a single one has a SCM specialization. Why i am saying this is SCM jobs are easy to fill with business majors or any major for that matter with learned or acquired knowledge of procurement back ground. Again this is my opinion. When you come to US to get a green card or a job towards that, you need to be pursuing CSE, EE or data analytics or may be cyber security@@arulannad
When I have searched, I found a story on reddit where a person had to go back after he was laid off and his 90days grace period has finished. Don't know the authenticity of it. What do you rthink
There is always MOTELS where one can work and stay there. There are people who are staying in that country for last 30 years in Visitors Visa which expired 29 years back .. All the time they escape
@@spg6651 yeah, have a stressful unhappy life for the rest of your life just to survive 🤣........ On top of that loan debt (if you moved there as a student) And once you leave that MOTEL, then there is no coming back 🤣
Hinglish is amusing to a western audience! I live in Australia, and it still has to come to terms with people who are not the same colour and speak with an accent. Foreign students are serving a dual purpose. Firstly they are keeping foreign staff in education positions and secondly they have to accept any job. Slave labour! Come and see for yourself!
Apart from EGO Massaging , what is that US education brings to the table ? Entire life you have to carry your passport in your pocket . Living in a country where you are NOT welcome is really painful . Stay home -- Be a good citizen of BHARAT .. That is most important .. BHARAT is the cradle of new technology going forward . Work here -- Enjoy life -- contribute to the country -- NRIs are relocating to BHARAT .. The pain associated with JOB hunting ? not worth it.
This is very insightful information. Thank you so much for contributing to this for the public.
Appreciate your efforts to create this video, Strongly advice to follow your video

Yes, there is room for improvement for sure. Thanks for your feedback :)

Are you getting interview calls or is your resume itself not getting shortlisted?

Why dont Indians show so much initiative and hard work in making their own country better. In India its all about politics at work.
Ikr..
1.Herd mentality and 2.fear of risks and 3. selfish personal goals i.e only chase money ... 4. Unsupportive Indian society and mentality

Indians moving outside helps India only.
1. Remittance to India
2. Our culture spreads worldwide
3. Less competition in India
Mam many university are offering online program in masters in cybersecurity. Is it worth it ?
I don't really recommend online courses. They dont give you the real exposure and experience.
Would you recommend US in terms of doing MIS and how's job probability after that? Appreciate if you could share your thoughts on this.
MIS is pretty well established in US by now and some people get very good placements after it.
Dont waste your time. Too many MIS "Experts" already here
what are the possibilities of getting job during MS becoz currently i have a experience almost of 2 years at atlasian

Courses related to life sciences technology.. you should complete a PhD for a satisfactory career.
MBA IN SCM COURSE LOOKING FOR MY SON FOR 2025 INTAKE IS IT GOOD TIME TO START HIS MASTERS ALSO SUGGEST GOOD DECENT UNIV MANY THANKS 😊 👍
Supply Chain management is already saturated and most SCM opps dont need any special SCM degree.
@cookmaster3626 SO WHATS NEXT OPTION WE CAN THINK
