Question: On the Goboard seams, you do not use the fabric Goboard seam tape? The Lexel bead is enough? Also is Lexel what you are using to seal the flange to the wall?- Thank you great tips here!
No need for the fabric seam tape if installed just like shown. Lexel is what I'm using for the flange to wall as well. I would highly recommend checking out the extended version of this video where I go into greater detail about this. It's the exact same remodel, just an extended more in depth video.
Standard hole saw cuts right through it. For leveling the pan, just make sure you get enough mortar underneath it but not too much! The mortar can help you to level it perfectly even if your floor is significantly out. We always check the floor extensively with levels before we ever begin the base installation so that we know where we might need to place a little extra or less mortar.
Looks pretty great, but one of the panels on the backwall look like it has some discoloration. Is that from manufacturing or just odd light happening from filming?
You are a true diyer 👍🏾

Wow way to show the wrong way to install castico walls
@@PatrickBuckley-ol2ok Ummm, your comment was to me, not the video creator. 😄
@@maryirwinartdesign8235 it's funny because Castico promotes them but they're instructions say not to do that
Could you install the shower directly to green board?
You can. They have guidelines for that type of installation as well.
How did you cut the whole in the side panel for the plumbing? Any tricks for leveling the pan?

Why is the one wall brighter white?

We noticed the same thing after reviewing the video. Just some weird lighting playing tricks on the camera thankfully. Good observation.
