So true. I see too many people in their 20s and 30s who have nothing outside of their job and slowly become insane from trying to hold onto a career and money. They have not learned any skills outside their job and get anxiety from knowing they can't do something else. All their good stories are from when they were in highschool or college. So sad. I am 31 and trying to change a lot of things. I am getting pressured by people in my enviroment to be a certain way. Trying to not to get washed away by it and change things slowly.
I’m seeing this on my 1/2 hour lunch break working for corporate (real estate) a job I hate and dread going to! I love health care and my passion is to have purpose. Working in a corporate office making the old man boomer in charge wealthier doesn’t make sense to me! I want time to self reflect on my next plan and to take care of my health.
I wish I learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix- - Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life changing information that could have great effect on their finances.
People don't realize that every millionaire/billionaire who built a stellar company from the ground up, did not do so until their late 30's or even into their 40's. There's the miniority who did it prior, but that's a rare case.
The problem is that people just go on TH-cam or tiktok or whatever and spend hours on their for "rest days". If you actually took rest days properly there would be no problem, but its these problematic actions that contribute to you stagnating in life.
@@thebiggestdan8639 off your phone, disconnected as much as possible from the internet. No mindless consumption, only mindful experience. My ideal rest day would be to wake up early, and read for a while, then go for a long walk and upon returning stretch or do yoga for at least an hour. Moving on I would journal for an hour or so, followed by something creative such as drawing or painting. Every time I get bored I would just sit back down with a book or go outside. Just totally dive into yourself and relax. Pretend that there is nothing to do, nowhere to go, nowhere to be. Spend the day in love with yourself as present as possible. It will make you love life and motivate you to work harder the next day and week. When we work, we pump our brains full of information. Rest days are supposed to be a way to subconsciously process that information. If you spend all day watching tv or consuming any type of content (Books are different, they are more engaging mentally) You are just pumping more water into an already overflowing dam. use your rest day to allow the water to to settle, and then plan the next week out and execute.
What the fuck is a rest day? Maybe if i got 2 or 3 days off a week i could afford to do nothing but damn 6 on 1 off i have to get a haircut, shop ect on that one day off.

Can relate. They tell you to do what you’re good at or what you love, well not to sound like a jerk, but if you’re exceptional at a lot of things and intensely curious about almost everything -that is literally zero help. I’ve just resolved to needing to have a variety of jobs and passions throughout my life. There’s too much to learn, experience, and explore.
It sounds good, but it's nearly impossible for 43 to be anyone's "athletic peak" because the level you think is your peak then. It wouldn't have compared to what it could have been if done in proper timing. True peak can be reached between 20 to 30 anything after that is 'late bloomers' stuff.'
Not if you are young. Its demotivational. Its only inspiring to people in their 40s who are desperate for Hope because they've wasted the best 25 years of their life and built nothing with it.
