Great reaction 🤘Hagane are incredible, this is Hagane now, with Nagi on vocals, and Junna on drums. Junna is a beast on drums, well known. Sakura the guitarist created Hagane in 2018. Then she formed the band, Sayaka on bass was with her then.
"Hero Time" is the first song Sayaka wrote lyrics for. HAGANE is a band formed by Sakura, who was popular on TH-cam as a precocious guitarist since her teens. Sakura wrote the lyrics and composed all the songs. In 2023, three members left the band, leaving only Sakura and Sayaka. People thought that this was the end of Hagane. However, Sakura didn't give up and held vocal auditions, scouted a drummer, and made the band even more powerful than before. This song was written at that time. So I think that in this song, Sakura is the hero from Sayaka's perspective.
HAGANE has made a big leap by acquiring Junna, the TH-cam drummer who has had the biggest impact on the world in recent years with his power metal drums. In addition, Nagi's vocals, who was acquired through a new vocal audition, matched the band perfectly. I think that they are probably one of the Japanese female metal bands with the closest chance to achieving the same success as BABY METAL. Thank you for the great reaction video.
I thought you'd like them Beth. Pronounced (Ha ga neh). Information regarding the band Of the Members who left - Uyu (Vocals) and Mayto (Guitar) went on to form Mana Diagram. KanKo (Drummer) went on to be the drummer for Yeti Valhalla,. But the whole band left him. She has been a support drummer for PaleNeO and other projects. New Members - Junna (Drummer)One of the best drummers I've seen in Japan, or anywhere. She was in the band later called Trident after she left and also her solo work. Nagi (Vocals) is pretty new on the scene but has a great voice. Guitarist Sakura is the creator of the band. The new music has lead and rhythm guitars in most of their new stuff here too. Bassist is Sayaka, who has her own TH-cam channel Recommend next: Tenka Goken MV
I like this current line up of HAGANE. And so happy for Junna to find a band, after she left Trident some years ago. I saw Junna live last year play for Fate Gear as a stand in, for Haruka who couldn't make the European tour. Did you know she didn't start playing drums until she was around 15-16, as it gave her time to do something with her dad. Also a band that I have suggested before, Ankor are playing in Manchster on Feb 10 2025. A Spanish band with ann English singer, who has lived in Spain since she was 5, and a brilliant Greek drummer. Three days ago I saw HAGANE perform at the Tokyo Polytechnic University Festival. It was an outdoor stage in the rain, but I would like to say to the whole world that JUNNA's actual drum play was a monster, even more so than the video, and NAGI's vocals were not overshadowed by the drums at all.
It's pronounced "Ha-Ga-Nay". As you have known already, this is their newest formation with two new members, after the band lost three of their old members Uyu (vocals), Mayto (guitar) and KanaKo (drums) last year. Yes, there is one previous release before this, the MV of 'Tengagoken' that's as awesome too. If you want to check out the previous lineup, you can react to the MV for their song 'Super Villan', definitely epic. Thanks for the reaction, Beth. PS: any chance you might visit other live videos of STMLT?
The band name is spoken like "Huh-guh-nae" (in UK/US culture), emphasized on the first syllable. You are right: It means "steel" in Japan. They are rather new on the Metal market, but are already kicking-in every door ahead of them 😂 , wasting no time. 😁 I wish for a joint tour of LOVEBITES and them. 😊 HÁGANE just relased their first EP "Life goes on!" where this song is from, and the whole EP is _amazing_ . 😊 DE/GER
Thanks for the reaction! New HAGANE is hecking fire! 🔥🔥🔥
Hell yeah!
HAGANE + Nagi + Junna = Perfect

Not just "a new drummer"! IT'S JUNNA!!! 💥
