pets is so simple yet so good, just picking up mats i cant be assesd alot of the time.
They are awesome. I hope we get some more Diablo themed pets though. The cute little animals are out of place IMO. I need a demon dog, or little vampire following me around.
@@DarkPassengerImmersion is dead with this. Everyone will be riding around on something that belongs in WoW, with something else that belongs in WoW running behind/next to them. It’s a lost cause already.

I tried it out and the pets are insanely effective, no more running around like a goose in helltides picking up shards. Pet does it for you. I did the bosses in HT and instead of running in circles and picking everything up, just sit in middle and let doggo do all the work. Good job blizz, nicely done, its those little touches that really help. Now if only we could get some sort of loot filter that may work with pets and blizz would have really stepped up their QoL A game.
Why we need a loot filter ? I only pick up things with GAs now. Before that I wanted all the loot to sort thru.
People are so lazy these days. In upcoming years I'm pretty sure people will want an auto attack and auto quest feature.

If you go to store then add-ons and click the expansion you can preview all the items in there

I dunno how to feel about the very first wings being locked behind a 90$ paywall... or wait, I actually do know - it sucks.
I really dont like these wings. They look weird ingame. Something feels off but i dont know what.
@@vini-ix8yt I don't think they fit well in D4. D3 could get away with it and it actually made sense 'cause our protag was a nephalem or whatever, plus D3 was cartoonish ig, in a way, but D4 has a whole different vibe to it imo. A bit of glowy stuff is okay every now and then, such as the battle pass armor, but wings are either angelic or demonic trait, and our protag is neither. Doesn't matter tho, I know I dislike wings in D4 so I won't equip them, what others equip I don't care.
The wings are awful. They look like something out of a Mardis Gras parade.

Pets picking up anything but equipment and azure stuff is really good. I’ll probably go mid tier as usual and then upgrade to the Uber level when they’ll discount it (they will, it always happens in WoW too).
how much of a discount are we talking about here , lets say i take the standard one now (due to not want to miss out on the pre purchase items) then let say in December holidays it will be discounted by how much
Yeah i wish pet can autosalvage yellows so I don't see them. (and legendaries without GA ideally)
With the Ultimate edition, you also get 3000 platinum and one seasonal Battle Pass. Since you get back 700 platinum via each season's Battle Pass, you can effectively get 9 more seasonal Battle Passes, or 10 in total. You also get a Battle Pass with the mid-tier edition but no bonus platinum.
why is everybody mind blown by this pet? we had that in D3 already, they didnt invent the wheel, they just added it to D4, so atleast D4 hast 3 out of 4 wheels now. :D but hey its not bad.

Off topic, sorry, but.. Is there a setting to change cursor color in D4? I see yours is blue but when I check settings I couldn’t find anything and google says there is no setting to change it?
Are those mounts attainable in game? or just by pay? Cause I'm only buy the base expanction.
I bought the deluxe edition. Just with that you can remove the saddle from the new mount.

You don't have to buy expansion, just in case. you can play firther in october, just don't get new class and more campaign story. But if you want to spent less money, 40$ option for you.
The pet is awesome, disappointed it doesn't pick up boss mats though, I just can't understand why Blizzard wants us to annoyingly click every single boss mat that drops.

The question i have does the pet pick up shards of hatred in the pvp zones? cause that's tedious as hell.
Only issue I found with pets is on family shared ps5 console. No way for wife to have access to the cats bought on my account. Nor an option for her to buy it after I bought it. The expansion says unavailable when she clicks the square button in wardrobe on cat and expansion tab is gone in shop if you go there directly.

The biggest question i have, does the pet pick up purple souls that drop from Anima Elite monsters in Dungeons. If yes then thats the biggest W

haven't touched the game and might pick it up now (after almost a year), how's inventory and class balance now?
I did not buy 6th tab yet. I have 5 lvl100 chars on SC and HC. 2 mat/potion tabs, 1 tab for twinks 1 tab for uniques and 1 tab for legendaries. that's it. with codex you don't need stash that badly.
class balance is... whatever. sorc is the weakest in terms of lategame but all classes have at least 1 build to push the pit.

Tiger is only available when purchasing Ultimate Edition as far as I know, at least so its shown in our EU versions.

It's a back trophy, it literally says so if you preview the wings in the shop.
I hope they fix the upgrade glitch for console soon. So many accidentally got the deluxe version and can’t upgrade to the ultimate version.
I'd have bought that epic pack if those wings weren't so small. It really looks quite silly how small they are. They look more like windscreen wipers. Also the pet/mount settings should have an option to be accountwide so you don't have to redo it on every character if you don't want to, just a nice QOL for when you make lots of alts.
I hope they add a super rare pet similar to like how rare the cosmic wings were in d3 or w/e they were called the rainbow world wings
I absolutely love they are bringing the best D3 had to offer into D4 whilst maintaining the aesthetic.
Also! Something lots of people dont really address: the new expac is coming with a new region. That means new map. We dont know how big it is, yet: but if it is as big as the current world map, the expac being priced the way it is, is plenty valid. Its almost 'Diablo 5', or 'Diablo 4.5', if the map size matches the current one.
If this game keeps growing like this it can easily just be added to overtime, increasing its longevity far beyond a need for a Diablo 5, honestly. I am hoping that is the case!
As an 'oldhat' (41 later this year now- time flies!), who has played since Diablo 1- this game is easily growing into my favorite Diablo. Hot take: it has a chance to surpass my love for Diablo 2, and I am all for that.
Extra hot take: Id like to have a new day job so deep down (as much as I know it will not occur!): I would love for the RMT market from early D3 days to return. I was in the Army Reserves at the time and even as an E6 then, could make more messing on D3 in a few days a week than my check from DFAS for drill/travel/etc. lol. People buy shit black market anyways- may as well make it official and take a 5% cut, Blizzard. Money for low energy work is increased revenue, after all.
So the expansion is not included with the original ultimate edition of D4? I thought it was included.

btw the base dog also picks up all the stuff, you don't need the pre-purchase bonus for this (just claim it in the wardrobe).
that being said, the pricing of this expansion is just crazy. 40 EUR for the base stuff? 90 EUR for deluxe edition. crazy pricing compared to content from other similar games. that's the blizzard tax I guess

they are probably going to follow the d3 formula with a new pet or 2 every season as part of the rewards. I do like that these pets seem MUCH more efficient than the d3 ones do though

So, is there another season before the expansion? I am waiting for details on the expansion cause i don't want to spend more money to be disappointed a 5th time with d4. I'm a doomer at this point, i used to be so into blizzard games, but they only seem to care about how much money their games can make and not about how much the players will enjoy themselves
I'm not usually one to care about cosmetics, but I really liked the way this Aztec/Maya armor looks, plus you get $30 worth of platinum so I can buy another set if I want.

I don't rly like the wings, they are so small. I d3 even tho they are very static they feel better since they are fairly big. I'm gonna stick with the base version of the dlc.

Pets pick up nearly everything. Legendary mats, gem dust, gold, cinders... Anything you pick up by just walking over it, the pet grabs it.

They are going to sell a lot of mounts now that they are going away from just horses. Add in different pets and cha-ching, cha-ching.
It should pick up boss summoning mats like the exquisite blood. Trying to those up in the middle of a pile of trash legendaries is just frustrating.
Looks pretty solid. No real reason to preorder though as you get a free pet anyways when you login. Pre order only worth it if like the cosmetics and even then it’s not really worth it.
