Thanks for sharing. I just wanna ask u a Q.. What do u think about selling ebooks on shopify store, putting some ebooks in a particular nich and drive paid traffic to it 'same as droppshiping but only selling ebooks' what do u think? Is it worth it?
To be honest, it’s probably not worth it and it won’t be profitable. The simple reason for that is that getting the paid traffic will in most cases cost you more than what the eBooks will make back for you. So unless 1) you have a very strong or popular brand, 2) you are targeting an ultra specific, highly converting demographic or 3) you have a very solid back-end of highly converting higher price products/services that your eBooks lead the readers to, it won’t work.
The powerful thing about Amazon is that they already have a lot of potential customers and readers on the platform, who are there to make purchases (instead of to browse their FB feed, for example), their credit cards are already on file, Amazon is highly credible in customers eyes etc etc. And that just generally makes things a lot more frictionless and gives you a higher chance for success and profitability. Hope this helps to clarify things for you. Best of luck! :-)
I am about to publish my book. This video was the much needed material for me. I'm very lucky I found it early. Thank you Thomas.
Glad to be helpful. Thanks for watching!
