I don’t know about you but this was completely unhelpful for me I have no idea about what to do to help earn money what I should focus on to try to help build some sales and how I should set up the account or anything. This was literally a lot of generalized rambling at my expense with zero fucking pay off

If I made $315,000 in ONE Month with Amazon KDP I would buy a house for 150k, install solar plates and rain catching system, invest 100k in smaller apartment, rent out and live of rent, and have 50k reserved for daily expenses. Most definitively would not be making TH-cam videos, but relaxing in front of a beach or pool. Life is too short to always chase money.

Very interesting thank you. Most people don't think about budgeting and it's crucial.

I was happy and shared, how I did $1000 in 7 months. Fully agree about 80/20. Same results with my top3-4 books and it's hard to say why, if there are similar books with nearly 0$ in results. And it looks, that you miss role of right pricing. Sometime, I want to increase/decrease price, but if people are buying your books and specially, if they are leaving good reviews(or at least no bad reviews) - it means, that it worth it. So, it's good to make good books(I'm making not low content books and only about themes I know), but at last - it's customer's choice.

To be fair, a bit of history about Low Content Books. Having been on the front lines of the LCB revolution since 2013, when this began, on Createspace, we could sell well with Organic sales. Back then it was expensive to hire Ghostwriters or illustrators to make books. So a few of us folks realized, it was easy and inexpensive to create Notebooks , journals and Planners and sell them via Amazon. In the beginning, few people were doing this , and life was good. So the MATH worked.. because if you did have 100 books, you could almost guarantee your income. So MORE books did translate into more money. Back then people DID take pride in the books they put out. Somewhere around 2020, I guess during the Pandemic.. LCBs got discovered.. and the spammers arrived. I knew people who were creating the software that could help people make 1,000 books at a time. I refused to EVER promote those tools and told people who made them that they would KILL THE GOLDEN GOOSE.. and sure enough.. they did. I personally have switched to Children's Picture books and more long form books these days. and I tell all my students they MUST advertise at least the 1st 30 days they release a book. LESS IS MORE.. these days.. but ONCE UPON A TIME.. LCBs and having a LOT of books.. did make sense.. sadly those days have passed.. and that tactic no longer works.. but people will keep shilling videos out about it.. that is the sad part.. people keep teaching a dying tactic, and telling them they can make lots of money organically.. You can also win the Lottery too. the odds are about the same.

I'm wondering if your method of creating two separate accounts under two separate business entities will be an issue, now that KDP is taking this additional measure to verify the people who own each KDP account? If you have a moment to reply, you insight on this would be very much appreciated!

I’ve had I think 6 books up for around 3 months and I’ve not even made 31.5 p, it seems that those who are successful are far outweighed by those who aren’t. I’ve done colouring books and children’s bedtime stories and just been a waste of time. Also all these strategies are great if you can afford to subscribe to bookbeam etc. when you’re months behind with bills etc there’s absolutely no way you can keep throwing good money after bad just to achieve nothing.
