    Hey Brandon, Thanks for your great videos! I just found your channel and enjoy watching. Would you please consider doing a video where you talk about locating crappie without the use of electronics? I just have a small boat with no electronics. I love to fish as much as anyone else, just can't afford all of the gizmos to locate the fish. Thank you again for the videos and have a great day fishing!

    Love your videos. I see you fishing lakes in the south for crappie. Have you ever fished inland or coastal rivers? I fish coastal rivers and have trouble finding crappies sometimes. I believe the fluctuations in water salinity pushes them out of places they normally school at certain times. Would you agree?

    Didn't figure I would get any comment back, I usually don't when I ask about about fishing without any electronics. Not complaining, just thought I would try. Have a great day.

      Sorry man hadn’t got around to it yet. I grew up fishing with no electronics, and we caught plenty of crappie. All electronics do is help you break down water quicker. Without them your best bet is to fish visible targets and high percentage places like bridge columns, boat docks, laydowns, and etc. It may take you longer to find them but you can certainly still be successful. Be sure to take note of how deep your bites are coming as well, as that will usually be a pattern all over the lake. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    Love the videos, been trying to learn how to catch crappie. Do you have any advice for someone fishing barren rock lakes with no brush? Any good presentations that work better in open water?

    • @keithwalker5078
      @keithwalker5078 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      first rule of those is put your own brush in the lakes and you will be doing great. doesn't take much time.

    Do you ever have anyone try to say you can’t fish their docks? I want to try shooting dock but worry someone will try to run me off. Thank you for any info.

    • @BrandonLesterFishing
      @BrandonLesterFishing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have definitely ran into this, many times as a matter of fact. It’s important to remember a dock is someone’s property and I always try to be as respectful as if it were my own, but at the end of the day the dock sits on public water. Different states have different laws but in TN they can’t legally keep you from fishing around their docks. Most states are the same way. As a matter of fact there are laws in place that protect anglers against people harassing them while fishing. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself, but as I said be respectful. Most people won’t give you any problem whatsoever. Thanks for watching!

    I'm curious about the black nose crappie. You catch a lot of them and I'm wondering what part of the country you're in, and do you find them to be similarly popular in all the lakes in your territory? I fish in north Texas and catch one very rarely. I'm not after any secret information; just curious what you can tell me about them. I do enjoy watching your shows. Thanks.

      I’m in Tennessee and we have a lot of them in our lakes. TWRA started stocking them 20-25 years ago and they have some really well in out area. They basically have the same tendencies as black crappie, and fight hard. Very fun to catch! Thanks for watching
