The Warhawks have been so much fun to watch, and I always make a point to catch their games. I'm a Tulane and VT fan first and foremost, but ULM is def one of those teams I have a soft spot for.
My wife played volleyball at ULM. I can tell you ULM’s failure has been largely due to their dismal efforts to hype their school up. Nobody’s been excited to go there for a really long time. You look for ULM gear in Monroe and Grambling and Tech gear is easier to get ahold of. It’s really embarrassing. I really hope this helps ULM get their crap together and make people proud to be Warhawks and do a better job of recruiting.
My dad went to ULM for one semester, after transferring to Northwestern State. I'm a die hard LSU fan, but I've always had a soft side for both UL and ULM
@@Cd-nz2co dude tell me about it. I was originally supposed to go to northwestern to play baseball cuz coach Bertrand is best buddies with my dad, and my parents both graduated from there, but ever since I transferred to LC, it feels like northwestern just took a major fall in sports

They didn't beat a Brett Favre USM team. USM was D1 (FBS) and beat them in Hattiesburg 44-37. Also Brett's last season at USM was 1990. Just a heads-up there. ULM was D1-AA (FCS) in 1993.
not only do they have a unique mascot but their unis are top tier and the helmets genuinely might be the best in college football

I only see LSU merchandise being sold in Monroe. Plus the bookstore merchandise has been lame since the early 90’s as well.

I go to northwestern now we suck so bad its a shame haven’t won a game in like 2 years+ and we let southern Alabama put up 82 points on us😭😭
