    We are currently working on a brand new version of Charts that will bring a lot of new features to our app, including VFR Charts. It's not ready just yet, but we are doing steady progress in the project. Many thanks for your patience!

    I love how navigraph uses my home town airport for these examples. It definetly is a help for me.

    I wish I'd be younger and would have persued my dream. For one thing, I loved maps and charts... And now that these are aeronautical charts... it makes them even more special. Thanks for the detailed info and presentation. Am lucky to have free time for self education and subscribed to your channel and Navigraph makes it easier to get familiarized/comprehend.

    Great video. Always good to keep learning. When will navigraph offer vfr sectional maps, it seems like the ga vfr crowd isn’t getting as much love as the airliner crews.

    Thank you a lot for so much knowledge.
    I have a quesiton that what is the diffierence between HIRL and RL in same LVP take off minimuns chart ?
    Looking forword to your reply😊

      Great question. The HIRL stands for High Intensity Runway Lighting (They light up the edge of the runway). The RL stands for Runway Lighting. Now if we look at a chart, from KSLC 20-9A page, 16L,R, 34L, 34R. You can see with a HUD, and CL (centerline lighting) AND HIRL, we can go with 300 RVR (if our OPSPECs says we can). No HUD with just CL and HIRL, is 500 RVR, so on and so forth. The TO minimums will go up on you with reduced lighting. (these are lower than standard minimums). I could not find one with just RL-but I would say the mins will be high during the day. What is interesting about this, is at night the TO minimum can get lower, because you can see the CL better at night in the fog. I hope this answered your question.

    Super video but, where can I find the ref for “Adequate Vis Ref”? Thanks!

    • @Navigraphteam
      @Navigraphteam  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, thanks for the comment. it's a definition that the FAA uses: ADEQUATE VIS REF (Adequate Visual Reference) - Runway markings or runway lighting that provides the pilot with adequate visual reference to continuously identify the take-off surface and maintain directional control throughout the take-off run.

      @@Navigraphteam Super. I found the definition in the Jeppesen Airway Manual, definitions, but not in the AIM.

    Does anybody know what's happen with Jasons SWVA Operations channel ? It is fully missed on youtube... Is it deleted due "real ops" words in the description ?

    • @Navigraphteam
      @Navigraphteam  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jason decided due to a misunderstanding to remove the channel and spend more time with Navigraph tutorials and with his family.
