@@tommyenos6464 He updates eternity tools on his vgm page. If you want consistent progress updates join the citadel discord server. Yami gives updates on Eternity's progress from time to time.

So if I already had a old version of the modding tool with mods already installed, do I just simply download the latest version? Or do i need to transfer all my mods
First of all the tools have not been updated yet for the latest version of the game. And yes you need to clear installation first and then reinstall previous mods if their still supported.

yes i can... the current version of xv2 doesn't have mod support. we are still waiting for tools to be updated. if you wanna mod rn you need to downgrade.

@@rickyhancock615 i know that you can downgrade and play with mods fine but as for pvp and online related stuff im not sure. Tbh you should just downgrade and find out... if online doesn't work just upgrade again.
For me when i try to open XV2INS.exe it says some errors saying something about unknown dlc and then InitCharlist failed

yo why are you on 1.09 ? The latest version is 1.22 you are on an EXTREMELY outdated version of xv2. 1.22 is the latest version but it doesn't have mod support yet if you wanna mod you need to be on version 1.21. Hope this helps

link isn't broken eternity tools was taken down for maintenance and will be back up soon most likely towards the end of this month or early next month. I can let you know when its back up and updated if you'd like ?

everything works fine, but sometimes my game just freezs for like 20 sec and sometimes ot crashes too
How the game performs is heavily based on how compatible the mods you have installed are with eachother. Some mods play well together others don't
Is it possible for me to do this on ps4?
possible yes. But this specific program is only for pc. And i don't do console modding but there are people you can hire for that or you could buy mod saves.

What do I delete if xv2ins doesnt work?
well the game currently doesn't have mod support so if you wanna mod rn you need to downgrade your game to the previous version. If xv2ins doesn't work simply delete all the assets you installed when you modded the game which will be in the xv2 steam folder delete everything that isn't vanilla and you'll be good to go. Now if your anything like me and cant remember everything that is and isn't vanilla i usually just make a copy of my save data and delete the entire xv2 steam folder then go to steam and click uninstall then just reinstall and that will give you a 100% clean installation...Hope this helps.

If deleted the stuff un the directory,xv2ins can open now but when I put it in I still get an error that says InitCharaList Failed.
@@dereynharris9240 after you do a complete reinstallation the game should work fine vanilla now with mods yeah its obviously not gonna work unless you downgrade.
And downgrading is pretty complicated if your new... so the best you can do is a step by step vid jack has one he sounds a little weird but has great vids th-cam.com/video/BwOdot2OTE0/w-d-xo.html
What do i need to make sure is downloaded to use the anti cheat version of xenoverse because i can only use the exe version right now

@DragonMaster-413 I'm not online moding I just bought the game for 10 dollars on sale I was wondering how to start the game I had to install anti cheat
@@DragonSide-x7s ok then the exe should suffice if your not going online. And as i said you need to use the bin folder exe if your going to mod if you wanna use anti cheat clear installation and you should be good.
@DragonMaster-413 I wanted to know how to run the online side of xenoverse without the mods couldn't figure out what I need to get the anti cheat version of the game running
@@DragonSide-x7s simply do a fresh installation of the game from steam and start the game using the shortcut while being online and no vpn. You'll pass easy anti cheat with flying colors.
my character select is blank and i have reseted dbx and cleared installation
You cant mod the current version of xv2 yet still waiting on eternity to update if you wanna mod rn you need to downgrade your game and use previous patcher.

managed to fix it after deleting all eptaches files except from loose files problem now is the mod installer requires a newer version of the patcher

if you all have the same downgraded version yes but idk if it will work if you all have different versions but its worth a try'

it works just fine its just that the game updated since this vid came out so you need to downgrade your game first until mod support for dlc 17 comes out.
