I like to play on Hellmire from time to time. It really shows how nightmarish mother nature can be. Of course it is very challenging planet for many Helldivers, but it also is quite unique. The tornadoes itself used to be very annoying, but after last changes they are finally pretty cool. I feel so satysfied whenever I actually use them on my advantage. The sounds of burning masses of bugs... while fighting for my life and DEMOCRACY!
That mad dash with the MG and following mowing down of so many bugs is just...beautiful. I need to get back into using the MG

Devs: We made it so that firenados are more random so they don't feel like they are moving based on sound.

hellmire needs to implode. whats bad is the fact the devs don't want us to complete the current order. and the bugs will re attack hellmire next rotation. just look at fori? liberated for 5 minuets gets attacked now we have to do it AGAIN
I hate that planet. I feel like we would be able to make a gentleman's agreement with the bugs like, "f*ck that planet, aight?"

But Arrowhead's patch notes said the fire tornadoes were fixed (they are still quite broken). I do vote that we turn each fire planet into giant space portals to entice the Illuminate to visit though :)
They don't follow helldivers anymore but they can still block paths and objs randomly

Hellmire is my favorite place to join up on newbies. If they’re level 1 on Hellmire, they need the help.

Yeah, the tornado biome sucks. The tornadoes will routinely block where you need to go and they stick around way too long. :/
The eruptor *used* to be able to gib bugs, even brood commanders
then the ricochet change happened for the worse

seriously, no idea why the teamwork is so democratically strong in the western front but I have seen moments that could make an automaton cry.

While I certainly don't like it when people troll random strangers on their team without reason, there is a point where you can't be mad and have to respect the creativity of the troll! How he was able to become a traitor and extract I don't know, but that was, as Aasmund put it, well played!
I stopped playing hellmire after we completed the whole mission and gathered near most of the samps. Only to hit extract and suddenly fire tornados just cover the entire extraction point the entire time and we we just wipe as we can't even get to the ship.
Tried the new biome. At difficulty 8, even on my laptop with Core i9 and geforce 4080 it tanks the performances.
The bugs can have Hellmire the planet will probably burn them all it’self
how do people live on planets with Fire tornadoes being a thing that happens every 10 minutes
New planet was great but you can get lost in hills and treeeeees. Spent 10mins trying to find a clear route...
also, Eagle strikes rather useless because they keep hitting the trees.
It will battle creek, but bugs instead of bots.

I swear they patch one thing and two more issues take its place, the 500kgs keep hitting the trees, they cause the enemies to float (a charger landed right in front of me) and the frames drop when you destroy a tree (I think, haven't tested but there is a noticeable stutter, could just be me)
