@AlphaTraveler1 LOL The biggest thing I've learned is that, if it's beside me all the time, it will be used. You need to carry your planner around! :) Have a wonderful weekend, Kenny!

Your journals inspire me to try out different things in my journals. Thank you for the interesting snail fact! I was so surprised. I didn't know that they can sleep so long. I don't like to write about bad things in my diary too. But I will write a very short text or sentence about it, so I can document my daily life. Just enough that I can remember what was going on, but without putting to much feelings in it. I try to describe it more neutral. But sometimes, if I really don't want to write anything or if I just don't want to even think about it, I will just write down the feeling I have at the moment. For example I'm exhausted or I'm sad. But normally I want to try to write negative things down in a neutral way and just describe the situation in a very short way. I wish you a great weekend! Thank you for the video!

@chrissiesoleil I like the way you handle writing down negative events in your life! I think I will try that. Thank you for your tip! Have a wonderful weekend!

I love all your journals and planners. Great idea for keeping track of restaurants you’ve been to. I don’t journal bad days. I don’t want to remember those things. For years I’ve drawn in “scattered cherries” on those days. For me it represents a bad day. Life isn’t always a bowl of cherries, sometimes they spill and scatter. When I go back through I can see I had a bad day, but all I see are pretty cherries.

@Hoodlumsx4 I really like your idea of drawing scattered cherries on your pages! I will have to see if that will work for me when the a bad day happens, knock on wood. Thank you so much for your comments! I do appreciate it. Have a wonderful week!

Seeing all your journals makes me happy. I also have several journals.
For bad days or bad events, I might bullet journal but I don’t long hand journal them. I learned that if I journal the bad days then I fester on the bad instead of letting it go. My journals are for me and my happiness. An idea for those blank days could journaling prompts. There’s a billion prompt lists that would be fun to answer.

@paperstoryjournals Thank you so much for your kind words! I always worry I have too many journals, but they do help help things straight. Yes, I do worry about letting the bad days festering in my mind or maybe giving it more "credence" so to speak by writing it down and memorializing it? It's been interesting to read how everyone handles it. Have a wonderful week!

I love how you use all your notebooks. I tend to like to write about bad days so I can just get it out/process things.

@nataliewritesplans Ah, that's a different way to look at it! On my bad days, maybe I should push myself to just write and get it out. Do you generally feel better afterwards? Keep thinking about it? Or once you get it down on paper, it's out of your system? Something for me to think about. Thank you for responding and your kind words. Have a wonderful weekend!

Like you I don’t want negative or bad memories in my main journal. But I do write about a bad day in a separate notebook. I have a morning pages/brain dump notebook that I use to just get thoughts out so it’s not festering in my brain or loading me down. I don’t keep these books nor do I re-read any entries. This notebook just allows me to write anything and everything and free or clear up my head. I hope that’s helpful.

@leslierooney5159 Hi, do you destroy the notebook once it's filled? I've been trying everyone's suggestions the past couple of days. Thank you for your sharing your process. I really do appreciate it!

one suggestion for the bad days that I do in my journal is to write out the bad stuff, cover it with a sticky note or paper and washi tape. That way you can uncover it when you want to and you don't have to accidentally glance at it later and feel sad. It allows you to still record the memory but see it only when you want to. Hopefully this might help inspire you :)

@PaperAngelPlans Oh, this is another great idea! I have a lot of washi tape to use. And if anyone "accidentally" flips through it, all they will see is a page of washi tape. Thank you for sharing your idea! I may have to try this, too.

@tmcmc5227 Oh, that's interesting! What do you do with your negative-things journal once it's filled? Do you keep them? Throw them away? Have a wonderful weekend, my friend! Thank you for responding and giving me something to think about!
