It was so interesting to see all the books you’ve experimented with! The fear of people judging planner changes is so real and something I’ve been so worried about this month as well. No matter what books you use, I’ll be here! 💕
Thank you so much, I don’t know why I fear people getting frustrated when I change systems because it’s so common in the community. I am always very excited to see your videos 🥰
Favorite moment ..."what happened ....I started watching other people's YT ..." .😂 yes. Oh so relatable. The blessing & curse of YT. Great video, thank you!! Really helps me when I learn what works, doesn't for others. I'll sub & look forward to future videos!
Thanks for sharing ! ❤ I love my hobonichi cousin avec its one that sticks and use as my main journal. I also put gratitude at top of page its lovely space for it :) and nice to go in end of the day to do. I see you also have my fave pet tapes used - wanle!! I adore them so much! ❤❤ love your covers too ❤
The more I am using the hobonichi the more I am tempted to just go for it and buy the avec. It’s just so perfect for me, but because of that I feel like it’s too good to be true. The wanle tape is adorable, I got x2 sample loops for this month and tempted to buy a full roll! Xx
Your job stress feels so real and relatable. I went through quite a few rough patches with work in 2020/2021 and then again in early 2023. I hope things are feeling more manageable now. I remember doing a lot of journalling at the time when I was going through it, but not so much analogue planning. No judgment for hopping around as your needs and context change! I find it refreshing, honestly. My special brand of perfectionism 🫠 prevents me from hopping too much, which sounds great in theory, but it also means I'll stubbornly stick with a system until the end of the year (or the end of a notebook), even if it isn't working. I'm forever working on being a bit more agile and adaptable to change, since change, in general, is difficult for me. Switching things up with planners/journals feels like a really good and fun way to practice that!
Gosh I am so sorry you had a tough time. I was also journaling loads and just rambling in a random notebook which was super therapeutic. It’s so interesting how some people are able to stick with books even if they aren’t enjoying it, I can’t wrap my head around the idea of doing that 🫣. I guess if you can work on being more agile, I can work on becoming more consistent 😃
Thank you for sharing! I hope your new system works out for you! I say and agree with you, do what works for you. If it stresses you out and you are not sure what to do let it go for now, it might come back later, if not then it wasn't for you =D
Love this, having a back up plan and seeing how it goes is such a good idea. I am tempted to look into sterling ink for next year, but luckily not feeling the itch this year 😅
@@Jojournals90 Sterling Ink is my new favorite brand lol. I’m definitely going with them for next year, but also totally see myself getting a Hobonichi for the vibes lol.
This is a life saver, I was on a video call with a client once with red ink all over my hands and it was very awkward to explain “I love fountain pens!” 😝
i have never been a planner hopper (i have a hobo hon a6 with the vertical planner supplement). i made a judgement error that i would be planning a lot more. next year i'll go back to my beloved hobo weeks, but i generally stick in one planner even when it's not 100% working for me because i'm a horrible completionist haha.
That’s amazing, it’s good that you tried out the hon and now know it doesn’t work. The A6 weekly supplement is sooo cute but not too practical. Thank you for sharing! Xx
What do you use to take pictures and print them out? I’m wanting to get back into journaling and I’m binging videos for inspiration! Thanks! I love your style
Thank you so much! I take all my photos on my phone and I use a canon ivy (or if you are in the UK it’s a Zoemi) photo printer. They aren’t the best quality ever but they are so handy and convenient. Welcome back to journaling!! Hope you enjoy the process 🥰
Loved your video❤ and all your journals, and i would like to know what is the pen you are using? You have such a beautiful handwriting, have a great day🎉
Thank you so much. Oh goodness, up close my handwriting is far from beautiful. But I will take this compliment as I think all handwriting is beautiful 😆 I use x3 types of pens, mostly Uniball one in 0.5 or my pilot vanishing point in F. Then I also have a small family of fountain pens (which I need to do a video on soon) xx
This is the travelers weekly vertical undated. You can get it anywhere that sells traveler’s notebooks. (Jetpens if you are in the US and miso paper if you are in the UK) there are loads of videos about travelers notebooks on TH-cam 🥰

Aww thank you so much! ☺️

I like looking at the pages in avec, it's so healing ☺️

No judgement Jo. It’s nice to know someone else also changes things around. Xx
Thank you!! ☺️
I switched from Hobonichi to Sterling Ink, but kept them just in case I feel the itch to be in one/need the reminder why I switched.

I like the Standard TN out of all of this😊
From one inky-handed enthusiast to another … A small pumice stone and warm water will take care of your hands … and neck. 😉

hi, loved the video. where did you get the binder you store your ink swatches from?
Thank you so much! It’s a business card folder from muji and works a treat. Although I am having issues with the pages turning nicely.
