    I'm so glad that I lived to ride Motorcycles for over 50 years when they were simple machines that were easily repairable. You could pull a Panhead to Shovelhead down to the Frame with a 1/2 inch and 9/16 wrench. The wiring diagrams were in a Jammer Catalog. Easy to read. No Dyno needed to tune it .I commend you youngsters for your abilities but a two wheel stereo equipped heated grip plastic space machine sure isn't my idea of a Motorcycle.

    I use clothes pins and those tie downs you use to hold parts in place so they don't fall or hit the pavement unexpectedly, sometimes have a small towel or big drapped across an area to pin the pins to.

    Cool that Polaris gave extra length wires for such a conversion. You did a nice job, Brandon. Most shops would charge $1500-$2500 for that. I am not personally fond of that riding position but it ain't mine! Been tooling around on my 1971 Honda CB350 twin hotrod. Never ran right from the showroom floor. Mikuni VM32 conversion cured that!

    If you're going to change out the headlight, I highly recommend the Gen III Halo from EagleLights. I have that headlight and passing lights on my Springfield, what a great upgrade, plus lifetime warranty, easy plug and play. The Gen III Halo is way much better than any of the LEDs that Indian sells for a fraction of the price.

    • @BrandonBicasso
      @BrandonBicasso  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Always could use a good headlight update.

    • @roguecheddar
      @roguecheddar ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BrandonBicasso A good number of review comparisons done by different people seems to always have the EagleLights coming out on top, for overall brightness and coverage, plus the prices are very good. My Gen III set Headlight and passing lamps cost $329, got a first time buyer 10% discount so the total was only $298. less than half of what Indian charges for the adaptive pathfinder $600 +, which other people have found the adaptive pathfinder to not be all that great, especially for what it costs.

      Yeah, I’ve done that before but not this time. I ended up using the old clutch cable and fishing the wires through. The cable wrap wasn’t rigid anymore so that made it bunch up instead the bars. Just annoying.

      No idea. You can compare the frames on Indian's site to see if it does. If the frame is the same, it's a matter of buying all the individual brackets, screws, facial pieces to make it work. A lot of these parts are interchangeable.

    • @BrandonBicasso
      @BrandonBicasso  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure, but it's not a stupid idea. Probably could get it to work, but there's a few other things to consider. Mostly the mount points but also dealing with things like the gas cap trigger and power buttons.

    • @_nopestr
      @_nopestr ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BrandonBicasso Thanks for the reply!
      Well, the buttons can be relocated. I don't think that's an issue. Mount points might be the most important - the fork is probably way different, since the Challenger fairing is frame mounted. Also, while I'm there, I would probably throw out the speakers, and replace them with some custom cubbies - speakers are useless for me anyway, and it would be nice to retain some cubbies.
