Thats is very doable! lol! There is some great riding in this province though for real. From the best mudding you could ever want to the best trails you could ever want. 90% of the island is uninhabited. Lots of room to roam. You should try and make a trip out here this summer.
@OctaneAtv I went from a Honda 520 to the 700Xt and that was a big difference for me, I can't imagine the 101hp 1000cc. I bet if you got on a slower bike you would immediately miss your 1000 😂
Yes man. Tyler and I both retired from the extreme riding. Sick of fixing the bike lol. 😂 we will still get dirty here and there but plan to do more trail riding on these. We will all have to get together for a ride soon for sure. 👍
No its not legal. However, I live in a rural community outside of town. The general rule of thumb is if you arent giving the police a reason to stop you. They won't. Just be sensible and they are usually good about it. Plus my bike has registration and insurance. That is key.
I live in the same area and have the same bike!,i’ve had mine deep a few times,it cut out on me once👎🏻 never took on any water and started back up after I looked it over but still disappointing, would love to tag along for a run sometime! Cheers
I’ll be honest. Before I got this machine. I had never heard of Showa! Haha. But I will say the ride quality on this bike versus the old ones with the fox shocks is literally night and day difference. The showa’s give it such a comfortable ride. I love it.
@ showa has been around for sure it’s been on dirt bikes for 30+ years mostly Hondas. It really all boils down to the valving. You can take ok suspension and re valve it and make it the best. I geek out with suspension I rebuild my dirt bike stuff every season. Most don’t around here lol. if you could see the oil in my forks and shock after 80-100 hours you’d see why
Sounds like you know alot more about it then I do. lol. All I know is the gen 2 Canam on the Fox shocks were garbage. Stiff as hell. Might as well not even had shocks. haha. The showa's provide a smooth comfortable ride unlike any machine I have ridden before. I love it.
@ yes I’ve spent a bit of time researching it lol I knew when I heard they were coming with Showa stuff people would like it better. There’s probably adjustments on them as well?
Yes there are adjustments. They dont seem to have as much adjustment as the FOX setup. But honestly the FOX setup was junk. Might as well just have no shocks at all. So stiff. These showa's are amazingly better than what I was used to.
I'm the same age and I've been done with mud riding for the last 15 years. All you do is tear up your machines and at the price of these things today it's not worth it plus I want a reliable machine when you're way out in the bush and when you're constantly pounding on it your confidence goes away.
Yes, completely agree. Mudding just getting a bit old... like me. lol. As much as I love mudding I am just tired of broken diffs, torn cv boots... the list goes on and on... and on! I got the new Xmr over the Xtp as I still want to able to tackle any hole or deep water I come across. But, this machine will not be abused like previous machines I have had. Just time for a change.
Newfoundland is on my bucket list of places to ride. One of two places I have left in Canada. Looks like an unreal place to ride!
Yeah man it’s awesome riding here. Gotta come check it out!
@OctaneAtv I should just fly, find a POS honda foreman and go. lol

Jeeze at 4:46 you hit my 700XT speed limit taking a corner without sport mode, that's insane.
It’s insanely powerful. I’ve had many 1000cc machines. Never felt anything pull like this does.

@Narvie04 this will be my 4th 1000cc ATV. This one is something else. The power is mind blowing.
A nice leisurely ride , me n the bys will have to tag along for the day again soon

Complete ride. No issues. Nice
Yep worked well this ride. Hopefully we good know 🤟
Enjoyed the video… love the new quads… I’m curious what camera your using cause it done a good job at night
Also are you using a mic? If so which one… thanks
That’s awesome that you can ride on the streets where you live.
We aren’t supposed to lol. The cops will chase and impound our bikes
@ Hahahaha the way you were cruising around I was sure it was legal 😂

Are those Can Am factory handle bar warmers on your buddy’s outlander
Yep

Yes man welcome any time. And yes disappointing for sure. Hopefully it shags off.
Is the speed in MPH or KMPH ?
Kmph
Are you in 2wd most of the time on this ride?
Yes most of the time.
Goulds Rules?? 😂
Showa and kyb suspension are top tier stuff. miles ahead of fox in my opinion

Have you experienced any problems so far ?
It stalled on me twice. But other than that no issues so far.

Thanks for watching
nice machine bud, so much salt though whomp whomp.
salt?
Nice video, but that's not a bike. It's a quad. Bikes only have two wheels. Lol
