Troy Bayliss and Marinelli - the perfect combination! Trully amazing job, guys!
Proud to be Ducatisti!
cheers from Slovenia
Ducati..... the legendary bike of champions like CARL FOGARTY ..... and Troy Bayliss too.
What a bike ! What a heritage ! What a legend !
Most beautiful bike ever built. Truly awesome.
Toy Bayliss - what a legend!
Still my favorite WSB rider of all time.
i was smiling all the time, while watching this :D
That exhaust is SICK!!!!
I so want this bike. There is nothing that looks as good as this
this guy sure can ride. He is good in dipping into the corners. awesome
Best looking Ducati Ever
it's all true, i rode this bike at the track during the 1st Philippine Ducati weekend & Troy Bayliss was also there & smashed the lap record by 5 seconds on a bone stock 1199S Tri Colore with DSC SC2 tires. my opinion of this bike changed when i got to test ride it yesterday & it feels lighter than my 600, flicking it into the corners is effortless, the brakes are mental as very light lever pressure is required to stop from high speeds, riding this bike will make heroes of us all, now i want one
honda set a standard for modern superbikes ....others are proudly following it ...
mass centralisation+practical power+easy handling
Nice thnx for posting!
Simply the best!
So true bro...... This is a beautiful bike and any rider would love to have this including me.
Bellissimo video. Grazie!
beautiful
Bayliss, legend, this guy turns up to Ducati tests, goes faster than Rossi and Hayden, and then goes home.
The main reason why I plan to go to school for Mechanical Engineering.
ive never been a fan of ducati red, but this glossy dark bordeaux-ish looks fucking amazing!
Oh my God!! I appreciate this video so much. A little corny with some of his technical explanations etc., but that video was amazing. Than you foxracing!
Ti viene subito voglia di comprarla,
una moto da paura!!!
thanx troy
What you expecting if Troy rides a DUCATI? of course it will be A M A Z I N G!!!!
D U C A T I I I IIIIIII....!!! SIMPLE DA BEST..-- GOOD JOB...!!!
Yep its a crime to cover the sound of any ducati with music no music on earth is worthy. Love the Panigale, what a beautiful bike. I just wish I had the ability to ride one like it should be ridden.
Dream Come True...fastest bike
nice video !
It is all preference. I actually prefer the 600cc 4 cylinder sport bikes because I love feeling the revy nature of the engine. No other vehicle can rev to over 15,000 rpms. Two cylinder moto's feel like cars. To me, the screaming 4 cylinders are why I love bikes!
Of course it is a matter of preference! You should check out old Japanese market only inline 4 400cc and 250cc bikes (CBR etc), they can work all day at 18000 rpm!
to hide the way the bike looks as its still in the works!!
wow thanks man!
Preeetty much lol. It kills me how a lot of people don't like the headlights, but I think that's what makes it cool. It's almost KTM-like
I want to buy this bike next week after my class...yahoo
Dream bike !! *_*
nice bike yaaa,,,
I've owned many Japanese sport bikes, and none of them compared to the riding experience I had on my 900SS and 999. I'm saving my pennies for a Ducati for next summer. They are truly special.
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that any company Rossi rides for makes leaps and bounds in bike design for that season? Just saying. What a bike.
@johngamer7 it's call the upgrade technology and material means on the previous one it may still not available but on the higher model, they always put the updated better materials and technology via research or whatever not the old technology to the new year bike.
Don't forget many of these bikes have won championship after championship without ever being more powerful than the competition. I admit for street use power is everything and we want more. That's why I'm getting the 2012 zx14r but on the track is where a great rider can take a Ducati and win with handling over power.... Basically if you take someone like Ben Spies he's all physical strength and you can see how he throws his bike around on the track. You shouldn't have to do that.
whats with all the duct tape on the test bikes farrings ?. the finished product looks amazing i want one !!!!!
dam it, i just bought an 1198, i should have waited, GOSH!!!!!!!!!!
14 dislikes are people who don't have bikes!
nice
what are all the strips on the bikes plastics for? testing drag?
@jameslove6 As I understand it the white strips on the fairing in the wind tunnel are for testing drag as you said, if they remain smooth against the fairing in the airflow there is no drag if they flap it indicates turbulance which is drag, or did you mean the black strips on the matt black fairing on the track during testing? The're to break up the bike profile, so no speculative spy pic's can appear in the press before the bike launch. No doub't someone will put me straight if I'm wrong.
I'm getting one
@johngamer7 it never stopped to be an Italian manufacturer
Agree ... Ducati,MV were made to be "exotic" bikes and expensive. To much electronics if you ask me, but it's XXI. Nice, rare and that's enough for "rich" customer.
Mama Mia!
its all preference obviously, but F1 cars rev to 21000 RPMs, much higher than bikes. More than the sound, people like twins because of the constant torque and power available to the rider at almost any RPM, instead of having to run it always so high in the revs. It is true though, the scream of an I4 is something else!
are those lammars sensors?
Good
italians make the best, Aussies ride the best ;)
pffttt...
Lol, I like the look of the s1000 more anyway. Not to mention comfort and rideability. Oh and it costs thousands of dollars less.
i think this is the bike they use also for wind tunnel testing...
why is not racing in sbk???
Damn, haven't seen those sexy wheels before. They come standard?
hey bro can we put ducati 1199 a passenger pegs??????????
Just a silly question...why do they stick duct tape on the unfinished bike?
DAMN!!! :D
I am jealous.
Inline engines are more fun ,
more exciting .
You feel you ride faster than
you really do ........
@blau363 Nothing wrong with dat! I aggree with everything you say!
Music list???
funny things is Ernesto seems to have a hint of Aussie accent! :D too much time spent with Troy? :)
why put music on when the bike is riding, I WANNA HEAR THE FREAGIN 2 CYL WORK
PAURA @ 3:45 !! :O
motore apik yo...
Preview picture looks like Spiderman...
I have some idea about front wing and real wing, it test in china
Bring bayliss back to sbk
Lightness, small size, mass centralisation, ABS ... been stripping down Fireblades, Ducati?
I actually love the sound of this bike.. if I want whinny like most Japanese models, I can just get a wife... ;-)
Ernesto looks like Paulo Di Canios dad
Ducati is so far behind the competition today, there's NO reason for their price tag.
@johngamer7
The point is that when italians stop to be italians there are a lot of people complaining...and when italians do the italians there again a lot of people complaining! :D
Anyway that s the point of the market..not of ducati...that s the globalization my dear...thanks USA and the capitalistic world.cheers.
@schnitzel2k3 how did you come to this conclusion? his moto GP season hasn't come on in leaps and bounds has it? rather the opposite, and then some!! end of story.
It sounds like Ernesto Marinelli learned english from Troy!
1198
a lot of Valentino s on here
l2 i meant. whatever i like havin two :)
beautiful bike. too bad it doesn't work in motogp
...Ducati pays Troy Bayliss to NOT race their bikes, right?
This is interesting.
They could at least have had Hayden make the ad.
But no...
Posteriore come suzuki?????
he said "lot's of torque"...
the average rider don't need all these technology they don't have the skills to control it.
MOTO GP ?????????
VALE FAN :)
maxi scooters come with brembo come on!
I jizzed in my pants. Various times
not any more, the 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R is now the faster than the Hayabusa.
I want wait to rescue someones garage queen with 400 miles on it for half the price of a new one and put it that technology to use
bayliss wild card ride moto gp show them how to ride a ducati pal
@MMMBUTI i don't mean literally...
fantastic bike, but for the price... ouch
hayabusa ainda é a mais rápida do mundo
