Fantastic Job as always, that ZX looks stunning, do not think I have ever seen one that late. I used to use Infinity wax dark wax on my dark coloured cars and boy did they shine.
I hate to admit it and maybe I've just bought into the idea but I generally felt like the pictures after the purple wax application you could physically tell the difference and it seemed to make the purple extra deep/bright.

can i ask what you think of these ceramic coatings that detailers near me are offering. what are they? i recently had my classic mini resprayed. is it something i should consider to protect the new paint? really enjoy your videos, ive learnt alot. get funny remarks off the neighbours when a 'quick wash' takes me 5 hours lol.

Another great video, you gave me some good advice for my new black 911 last Nov. I used A/G Ultra Gloss & end up trying poor boys blue wax. The cars stayed looking great over the winter & has cleaned really easy using snow foam pre wash. My question is, with spring now here & wanting to give my pride and joy a good going over, do I continue applying wax or the ultra gloss? I'm a little confused over layering polish & wax? The PB blue wax doesn't bead that well do you have any tips on other waxes. Keep up the great work, Regards. C.M.
If you're still happy with the finish in terms of the amount of swirls then just top the wax up after washing once a month or whatever. If not, it's a re-polish and reapplication of wax and/or sealant.
I use a DA polisher with a thick foam pad on a low speed for applying cleaner and wax to large areas - saves a bunch of time and effort & works the product much better than I can by hand.
I've just gone self employed as a valet/detailer, used mostly common sense for my work but I'll be checking out the majority of your videos, any tips or specific videos that could help? Also, I've used the wax in this video and currently use mainly dodo juice products, they're fantastic!

My new M135i is arriving this week so I want to give it a good fettling, including claying and cleansing with Lime Prime, before waxing with Autobrite Obsession. My question is - if I want to apply 2 layers of wax can I apply the 2nd layer immediately after applying the first layer and buffing, or is there a requirement for more curing time for the 1st layer? Thanks in advance!
Depends on the wax and the conditions. I generally don;t have the time to wait around so once the first layer has been removed I go straight on to applying the second.

i use chemical guys white light on my white car before putting on a sealant (chemical guys jet seal)... the white light is provides an excellent brightness and luster prior to sealing.... it also has the added benefit of smelling like cherry cheesecake.... so its enjoyable to use.... :)

ESTee Gee Yeah guess the purple was a bit more special given in how limited numbers it was used. Yeah shits expensive here in Aus!

gun Metal grey is a boring bland colour this purple shits all over it even my old pearl White 300 was an awesome colour compared to the gunmetal

+James O neill Blue Velvet may have been a better choice but Purple Haze will still do the job I'm sure.
I've used the Lime Prime and Purple Haze many times before (on blue cars) and the results have been excellent. Any recommendations for silver paint?

+MS Detailing About 6 hours here but deduct the time it took me to film and you'd probably be looking at four hours all in!
