Cherish the moments out fishing with your dad, I lost my dad at young age, and every time I’m out on the water, is when I really miss him beside me. Awesome video, I’m glad to see the pros struggle too. Makes me no that it’s not just me 🤣
I echo your comments. I lost my dad 12 years ago. He taught me how to fish and all these years later, I find myself teaching my son the same lessons I learned. Great video to watch and remember past days out in the water.
My dad took me fishing when I was just about 4yrs old and I can remember many times. I was too small to cast. It hooked me. From those days on, I couldn’t wait until the next time and I’m still that way at 51
Don’t ever take those moments for granted. I lost my daddy in 2019 and would give anything to have him back in the boat again. In his last days he reminded me of all the good times we had. I enjoyed the video brother! Keep up the great work!
Super cool that your taking your Pops fishing. I can tell that your all about his experience & keeping him on fish is #1 priority. He absolutely loves anytime he can spend with you.
Nothing better then fishing with dad.I really miss that.Dad getting it done old school, tube and senko on a spinning rod!!!Thanks for sharing God Bless you both!!
No matter how many times you can do it....the best fishing memories you can make is with the ones you love. I wish my Dad was still around. He loved fishing. So many weekends on Clear Lake and Berryessa. Great vid Matt. I jeed to get ahold of you and catch up bro.
Hi Matt hi Dad! 👋 I can’t afford an Aldebaran (and stay married that is) but I’m using a Chronarch MGL on my Expride 610M and it’s been perfect over 3 years of use. Still smooth and light as a feather. I just wanted to mention that for us guys who don’t fish for a living… 😊
I had a rough time out on the water on Saturday here in FL. Threw a magdraft, s-waver, fluke, and a jsj trigger trout without even a bite! But it's always nice to be out on the water.
Nice seeing you fishing with your dad Matt. My memory of my day and I fishing was for Bluefish off Montalk point in N.Y. Some fingers were lost but that's fishing.🤣
Great video Matt! It's nice to see you out with your dad enjoying a day on the water! Thanks for taking time out to share your ideas on how to catch more fish! I Have learned a lot from your channel!
You cut your dad off Matt, lol I remember watching you at the beginning telling your story of catching 10lbers on bass magazine with a TV crew and how you had to borrow your dad's boat. You guys have some great memories , keep em coming
Awesome time on the water with your dad, even if the fish didn’t cooperate! I like the idea of adding a small split ring to the Karachi, or a loop knot to give it more action.
Man im saving up for my first boat right now. Got my eyes on a custom aluminum boat. Hopefully i can get out on the local lake next year and put your videos to the test
What is it about fishing with your dad that you still always mess something up 🤣 "Sorry Dad!" Is something I've said more than a few times in my life. I'm glad to see even Matt says it still.
We had a similar rough day on a prime largemouth bass Lake in Florida yesterday and had to finally resort to live shiners and did finally catch several quality bass over 3lbs with the largest coming in at just shy of 7lbs 😉
Have you thought about using a loop knot on baits that don't have split rings? I use them on top water baits and guppy head style for swimbaits to give it that extra action.
Was curious if you had ever thought about changing hooks out on the Karashi? I had a big fish unfortunately bend both sets of hooks out one day. Granted this fish had to be over 7-8lbs and I fought it for awhile before it happened while pulling drag. I know the bending out part is pointless due to how small they are but was curious what you’d use if you wanted sharp hooks again or if they get bent out too bad
Great video. One question ❓ why you guys don't promote wearing a life vest with some many drowning?. That water looks calm but under it's moving fast. Just saying as much as we fish we should be promoting safe and help save lives by promoting the wear.

I haven’t lost my dad physically but he’s got Alzheimer’s and can’t go with me anymore. I’m miss fishing with him every time I’m out there myself.

I can relate as well. I lost my dad in June. It’s been a tough year
@@RUF33OH…. I am sorry for your loss.
This made my heart smile brother, nothing in the world like fishin with your pops
Nothing better than father and son fishing together!

Good to see father and son fish together
It’s great when you finally get to flip it and take your dad fishing to repay all the times your dad took you fishing when you were younger. Love it!
Matt if it wasn’t for your dad love for fishing we would never have you and this incredible community of awesome fishermen, thank you Mr Allen ❤
Awesome content my friend. Nothing like spending time with your Dad, cherish the time you have with your parents......
I wish I had my days back with my dad hunting and fishing. I have the memories, though.😊

Great video awesome to see your dad again
Great info- love dad! 🙌
I always love the videos where you get the family out for a day of fishing.
A non-slip loop knot is a great alternative to using a split ring on the Karashi, increasing the action, without changing the balance at all.
Love going out with my dad. Some of my absolute favorite memories
Thanks!
Got to love fishing with dad

Missing my dad.. watching your dad catch fish was the best video this year
Good job😎🐟🐟💦
Excellent. The time spent on the water with your dad will never be enough, later. Trust me.

Good video! I wish I could still fish with my dad. Those were some great times

Got my BFS set up last week and the karashi is an absolute beast. Thanks Tactical Bassin
Man im saving up for my first boat right now. Got my eyes on a custom aluminum boat. Hopefully i can get out on the local lake next year and put your videos to the test
History in my boat= DAD caught all the big fish of the trip… glad to see your dad did also 💗🐟💗

Matt, cherish these days with the old man. Great video...
I bought a little Rebel Raider subsurface walking bait for bfs but I haven’t got to use it much. It looks really good with very light twitches.
It's TB TIME, LET'S GO!!!
We had a similar rough day on a prime largemouth bass Lake in Florida yesterday and had to finally resort to live shiners and did finally catch several quality bass over 3lbs with the largest coming in at just shy of 7lbs 😉
My go-to for the most timid bass, without slowing down, is the mat Megabass X-70
I would love to fish with you both one day on my local lake would be a smasher here in tn not far from y’all
That kirashi works so good I have been trying to find a larger top water with the same action 😅
Papa bassin!!!!
Matt could you do a video on how you fish the Karashi? Like your retrieve
This
4.8 Keitech on owner beast has been catching em for me last two days!
Electric Shad

Its almost that time of year to be on Wilson in Alabama for those giant 5 to 8lb smallmouth
Fishing with dad LFG!!
Matt had a "dropped the flash light " moment on his dad when he lost that one at the beginning
Thanks.
The fish are scared because it's Halloween and they know all about trick or treat. It's always a trick never a treat.
“From time to time”?? I stay on the struggle bus 😂. My whole Saturday was nothing but dinks.
is that watts bar? you and your dad caught (and lost) some decent fish!
Was curious if you had ever thought about changing hooks out on the Karashi? I had a big fish unfortunately bend both sets of hooks out one day. Is that Dale Hollow?
Why the OneTen Stick over the Expride for your jerkbait?
Please I need another best bang for the buck rods and reels!
Did your dad make the move with you when all of you moved from California? I’ve lived on the same property (farm) since 1986.

The Best guys on the game is Monday end wake up watching TB priceless good luck to everyone trying to catch my dream Bass
Can i get away with throwing the karashi on a medium spinning rod?
Why havent you guys made a 1v1 video yet? 😂😂
I remember a video of you on the Great Lakes and you could hardly get a word in on camera because your rather just kept slinging them in the boat
Great video. One question ❓ why you guys don't promote wearing a life vest with some many drowning?. That water looks calm but under it's moving fast. Just saying as much as we fish we should be promoting safe and help save lives by promoting the wear.
You're not fully finesse fishing if you ignore using the tube.
Hi Dad!
