    Fantastic pianist! Very motivational and a shame to have to listen to such a great demonstration of instrument qualities through a phone rather than in person. I could visually see the differences of ease of execution the pianist described between the two pianos. Neither piano action will improve much over time (perhaps the best in the world for a vertical), but not described is how the characteristic sound of each instrument will change over time. My Sauter's tonal quality continues to change increasing in richness as possibly so will those. Respect for Steingraeber, Sauter and any few other piano builders that remain 100% German made.

      It's called voicing. An expert can voice a good piano to your desires.

      For a demonstration of this kind, much more effort could have been put into the sound recording of the pianos. It is also a legitimate product advertising, which should positively influence sales. I find that many piano suppliers do not make much effort in this point.

      @@arnfriedm.machtard4956 In general, getting a real pianist to perform standard rep would be quite helpful. Bechstein does this, for example.
