@TropicLens we did the superior producer with a dive guide. Definitely worth it. With your amazing camera skills, it will be an epic video. Smiley face
The “whatever these things are” are called Seabobs. We were at that exact spot and had a guide that supplied the Seabobs. We didn’t dive but I will if I ever go back there.😊😊
Dove this site many times. Reef is really good and best between 40-55'. However, this area gets very crowded now with tour buses that bring folks to see the turtles. So, be aware if you find it hard to find a parking spot coming later.
Hi John - Leslie here. You are so right about the tour buses and crowds. The key is to arrive before 9:00 am. The turtles are there, but the crowds are not. This is my personal favorite dive in Curacao. You are guaranteed to see something good on every dive.
Curaçao definitely has some great snorkeling as well. There are many shallow areas to explore and some of the entries are arguably easier than Bonaire. I see you're commenting on the Playa Piskadó video. If you go there, I strongly urge you to get there by 7. Parking will be plentiful and you should have an hour or so relatively unbothered by (other) tourists. Starting around 8 - 8:30, it can become quite crowded (beach, pier and water). Tugboat can be the same way. Director's Bay is a great spot for snorkeling. Lagun in Westpunt is also nice. There are too many to mention. :-)
Love your videos!
Thank you!
I love your videos! Heading back to Curacao in April. It's SO beautiful above and below the water.
Thanks Kathleen.

Thanks Jaime. We return at the end of the month, so new videos are coming in December. :-)

Thank you Maaike! We are looking forward to revisiting Curaçao next year. (I am particularly excited to make a Superior Producer video.) :-)
