Sorry for the delay Geert. We took some time off and are now getting back into the swing of things. We are so glad you like our videos and thank you for the kind words. We're actually working on a few more from Curaçao. (Diving Superior Producer tomorrow!)
Glad you liked the video Joseph. We're heading back to Curaçao for February/March and will have a few more videos from there, including Superior Producer, Playa Kalki and the Stella Maris reef.
Glad you like it! :-) We will be returning to Curaçao in February for a few months, so we will be able to get a few more videos done. Cas Abou, Director's Bay, Playa Kalki and a few others are on the list. Let us know what you thought of the sites and what your favorite is.
Thanks Henk. We would have loved to dive again with you; however the lockdown got the best of us and our time on Curaçao came to and end. We are now on Bonaire and will be here through October. We really loved Curaçao and will be coming back again for sure!
@@TropicLens oh wow. I didnt know that. Well love to see your footage from bonaire. I did a lot of diving overthere in the nineties. Still got some friends there. Stay safe
Your videos are a fantastic resource. Many thanks for doing the. The overview on how to get to the sites is very helpful and the video quality is great.
Lol the cat at the end… I told my wife on our dive trip to Mahahual Mexico we can’t trust the dive shop if it doesn’t have cats. We got there and they had a bookshelf with baskets for at least six cats to sleep in.🤣 I liked this video. I definitely need to work towards getting my AOW, and getting my wife comfortable so she might join me there.
Agree on the cat rule! :-) AOW is worth it as it "formally" lets you get down to recreational limits where there are some nice wrecks and statues in Curaçao...and other places. We have met couples where only one dives. It's doable; but if your wife gets the bug, it makes things easier. There's always local buddy boards.
@@TropicLens she dives too, but isn’t feeling comfortable enough to advance yet. Part of the reason I want it is I think the rescue diver course seems like a very valuable course, and it’s a prerequisite.
@@Chogogo717 Indeed, rescue is a great (albeit exhausting) course. I stopped there, but Leslie continued to DM (before we met). AOW also has some mandatory and elective elements like deep, night and navigation...all of which increases confidence underwater. Continue the journey my friend. There is so much to see. 😃
Ahhh...they are just wrapping up Tech Week at Buddy Dive Resort here. Great opportunity to get exposure to a lot of equipment. Something to consider in the future. Looks like it will be the last week of September next year. (buddydive.com/events/bonaire-tek/)
Thanks Swapna. We had terrific dives each time we went. Sadly, with the lockdown, we won't be able to get to any more Curaçao dive site...but Bonaire is on tap at the end of the week! :-)
Warm yes, but it also stung a bit because they were large drops and it was quite windy. Still, quite nice underwater though. Great diffused lighting. :-).
I don’t even dive but I am giving this video a thumbs up for the quality. That and how much knowledge you share, more people who are interested in this topic should see this! Very nicely done video.
Wow, that is very kind of you to say Saida.! Not sure if you snorkel (rather than dive), but hopefully it shows off some of what you might see doing that as well. Either way, we appreciate your comment a lot. Thanks! :-)
Excellent video!
Thank you so much Kathleen.
Can’t wait to dive on Curacao in August! Thanks for all your amazing videos

Looks cool. Thanks for sharing. I'll dive that one for sure next time I'm there 😮

Great video again. I miss diving. Hope to dive with you again after lockdown. Greetings Henk

Enjoying the videos kids.
Glad to hear that John. Enjoying the "kids" comments given our age. :-)
rain????????
That was a fun day!

7:54 sea snake?
Actually, that's a sharptail eel (Myrichthys Breviceps). Very fun to watch. :-)
