I can tell you right now that there is a MASSIVE amount of musicians who want to achieve this aesthetic, but so many videos focus on hiphop/hyperpop, so ty for this!!
You're not musicians. You are people with a DAW. You don't communicate messages with your music, you don't bother to learn actual music theory beyond maybe major and minor chords, you don't even care about your music meaning anything. You just wanna make the current slop.
@@XenoghostTV alr bro no need to be all pretentious, you are also watching a tutorial on how to make beats for illit so it seems like youre pretty tapped in with all the slop (btw guys illit isnt actually slop i love illit!!!!!)

This is my first ever time watching your channel, and I these K-pop music tutorials, and if you do more of these videos ,I’m going to watch all of them ❤❤
recently started making music 2 months ago, im getting the hang of it, trying out many genres, but the kpop beat is one i was really struggling on, so thank you very much!
can you make a video for making sounds like the group tripleS? specifically their recent song "girls never die" or other songs of theirs like "rising" and "dimension"?? love this video
I‘ve finally reached the end of a chain of ur smartly linked up kpop vids - but DAMN, this is sooo interesting and insightful! I‘ve just started producing/remixing stuff on garageband for fun and all this stuff is super helpful, esp. since I‘m a thorough kpop enjoyer myself. ^^
I rock with you bro, I found you from the new jeans video. Im happy that you're diving into genres you like man. You have a good understanding and approachable teaching style, keep up the good work🔥
Only someone who doesn't know music theory would use that 2nd chord. You straight up have a C minor on top of a C major, as well as both a perfect and augmented 5th.... could not be more wrong, and yet it sounds good. Good example of not letting theory get in the way of good vibes.
in context it makes sense - the first chord is a Dbmajor as a IV, so the whole thing is in Ab Major. WHen it dips down to the C chord, that's just a III in the key of Ab, which is C minor, but adding the natural E is fine because C major and C minor BOTH lead well as a V to the Fminor chord afterwards. If the C was the I chord, the E/Eb would make a huge difference because its function is different - in that case C is supposed to be home. But in this case, C only needs to lead us home to F minor.
You are amazingly talented. I beg you and implore you! Learn Music Theory. Genre's will come and go in your life and the only thing that will remain is "Music Theory"! You can learn theory in a week. It ain't that hard. It will be the greatest gift you could ever give yourself and your subscribers. Anyhoot! Great Video, thank you for posting.
Hi Josh! Phenomenal work and sound choice! One thing that I would like to see is that, for soft sounds like pads, can you try to eliminate a few notes in between the chords? I think that would make a bit more room for the vocals to shine 😍 Anw thanks for the vid
I'd love to see a breakdown of some of ZEROBASEONE's music, specifically their songs Take My Hand (!!!), Melting Point, Dear Eclipse, Yura Yura and In Bloom 😅
Nice work is that in minor key if it is maybe it could be in major. Don’t you think that pad is too static. But yeah I’m trying to make K-pop too. Less instruments but distinct and less effect they gave me advice. But yeah good work as I said 👍
glad to be back 😢

This Is what I've been needing bro keep doing your thing❤
this goes hard asf
+ the chord shifting thing you did at 1:53 is called a glissando when done on keyboard I think
good to know
a glissando is when you slide up or down the notes of a piano quickly
Keep these comin 😂😂🔥🔥I can learn new techniques here the elements apply in pluggnb and other ambient underground sounds
1 whole fucking year of looking on the internet, never found content like this. THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

sO as a pianist i know a lot of music theory and im legit like this is crazy that you do this without knowing music theory well :D
