Yeah, been listening to ELO all my life. My favourite band.
Then you should check out HarriBest Reactions. I'm a patron there and have sponsored most of Harri's *50* ELO reactions.
ELO… I’ve been a lover of this band since 1978. All of their songs are fantastic Jeff Lynne lead singer has fantastic talent 🎼🎼🎼👍
Big radio hit for ELO. Keep smilin'. This song has a strange magic to it.
Well done guys magic from the genius Jeff Lynne all the best ❤
I love EVERYTHING by ELO! There's SO MUCH to discover for you. Enjoy the trip ❤️
I would recommend listening to the studio recordings of each ELO song you react to before hitting the live versions because although it is a joy to watch them live, I find the studio recordings are much more sophisticated with the layering of instruments and vocals that can't really be produced on stage with the same effect and quality. Try "Livin' Thing" off of A New World Record album. Enjoy your ELO journey.
Agree 100%. Always react to the studio version first (no video), turn your eyes off and wallow in the music. Then if you have certain songs you love and want to see them performed live, do a separate reaction another day.
@@Cosmo-Kramer I disagree, they are amazing live.
@@stevedriver3387 I know they're amazing live, I've seen them. But they're even more amazing in the studio.
They didn't use filters back then, but you are right. Genius
I was hooked the first time hearing ELO too. (1976 Midnight Special) You will be too. Bravo
Massive hit Spring 1976. Me 17 and in Love ❤
ELO--excellent choice!! Great band. One of my all time favorites!
Thank you. My sister died in 1995 and this was her favorite song. You hit on all the special parts and layers.
ELO spectaculars!!
Good Reaction my friends.
'I'm Alive', 'All Over the World' as well, and 'Xanadu' with Olivia Newton-John
Absolutely excellent choices!, Kind of curious. Have you ever heard Xanadu by ELO only... It's so completely different than the one with Olivia. Sounds more like a traveling wilburys song than the rocking dance track that it is 😁
@@jay_ooh hi, yes I have heard it, I thought it was a little bland compared to their normal style
In their ‘classic’ period (1974-1980) ELO used a full orchestra and choir arranged and conducted by Louis Clark who worked with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He worked alongside Jeff Lynne and Richard Tandy to produce what Jeff had in his head when writing the songs
If you want to listen to something a bit quirky from ELO, give "The Diary Of Horace Wimp" a listen.
Wild West Hero is my favourite ELO track. It’s brilliant and Definitely worth checking out 😊
Best song, to me All over the world!! But I also love flashmobs!👍
"Confusion" from their Discovery album.
The acoustic version of this live at bungalow palace really shows off Jeff’s voice 👍
This song is soooooo good! Thanks for reacting!
✌🏻🙂✌🏻
I would like to hear your reaction to “oh No Not Susan’ from ElO’s “On the Third Day” AND “Bluebird is Dead” from that same album. Note the guitar bridge in the latter mentioned. Great Job, folks
Strange magic? you betchya and their live performance was even more spectacular of a long performance...they had a huge space ship on stage that was lifted to reveal the dudes at the beginning of their show.....keep on a rockin & you might like some Jethro Tull he plays the flute, ah yea
Sweet Talking Woman is awesome
Listen to "Night in the City" off their OUT OF THE BLUE album.
React to "Living Thing" next...that's probably one of their biggest hits ever! It's a massive song with a massive sound to it!
A suggestion from ELO; Night in the city.
It has the quality of many songs from the 70's that the melody tells a story as well as the lyrics.
If you haven't seen it, flugsven, HarriBest Reactions did that song--which I sponsored--earlier this year. Do a search for it in his video archives, and you'll find it, along with 50 other ELO reactions.
@@Cosmo-Kramer Thanks!
'Tightrope' will take you on a trip. A great ELO masterpiece. Enjoy x
Jeff Lynne is a musical genius. If you enjoyed ELO. You should react to 'Tightrope'. New subscriber to your channel :)
When are you both going to do a REACTION to ELO’s TELEPHONE LINE!? It’s awesome! 26 videos in…. Let’s go !!!!
Thanks, Marissa! Thanks, Tyler! 🪄 When might y'all be reacting to "Evil Woman"? And are y'all aware of how much ELO music is in XANADU (1980)?! #TylerCreatesContent #StrangeMagic #ElectricLightOrchestra #ELO
I too agree... Keep going for the album versions before going for the live versions - but... For live versions... check out some of the 'Jeff Lynne's ELO' 2014 Hyde Park vids... Like 'Showdown', 'Turn To Stone' and my favourite 'Steppin Out' - this concert was accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra!!! 'Turn To Stone' version is also just as good in the 'Wembley Or Bust' concert! I know... We went to both concerts - Jeff can do no wrong!
Excellent music by ELO! Love seeing your reactions to awesome music!
There was no filtering back in the 70s
wow- Pure Genius
Love this song!! Good memories of that time!!!
Thanks a lot for reacting to Electric Light Orchestra 😄
We saw ELO live at Madison Square Garden a few years ago. Amazing show! The sounded awesome and I had chills during every song!
If you choose to listen to live ELO performances go for the Wembley or bust videos from 2017. Incredible performances.
I'm with you guys on the live performances. I love to see a group perform live and sound as good as the studio recorded version and ELO definitely could did that.
"Tightrope ". Love to see your reaction.
And ELO only gets better from here....y'all are starting off softly, I like that, you're in for a very pleasant surprise further on down the line.
YOU KIDS LOOK LIKE YOU'RE ENJOYINGGGG WHAT REAL MUSIC WAS, NIIIICCCEEE! 😊 SO YEAH, THIS WAS FROM THEIR 75 ALBUM ( FACE THE MUSIC ) WITH THE OTHERRR HUGE HIT BEING ( EVIL WOMAN ) 😊 AND THEN THEIR FOLLOW UP EPIC ALBUM ( A NEW WORLD RECORD ) WHICH LITERALLYYY LAUNCHED ( JEFF LYNNE ) AND THE BAND TO ANOTHER PLANET OF STARDOM YOU GUYS! 😊TIGHTROPE, LIVIN THING, TELEPHONE LINE, YOU CAN'T BEAT THE GOOD OLD CLASSIC ROCK YOU GUYS, KEEP LISTENING TO GREATNESS, THERE WAS JUST SO MUCH OF IT IN THE 60'S AND 70'S 😊 WAY TO GO TYLER
If interested, check out ELO in it's previous incarnation "The Move" - notable songs - "Do Ya" (the original slower, long play version - done instead by the then band leader - Roy Wood), "Message from the Country" & "The Minister"
Again Jeff Lynn is a master of his craft in so many areas. ELO is great :)) You should look up what he looks like. Has a fantastic hairdo. His live performances are fantastic - even recently they are still great and sound magical considering his age now.
Not Just his hairdo, but his whole look with the dark shades mustache.... The quintessential '70s look 😁
@@jay_ooh yah it's good
❤😂🎉🌏🌍🌎🎉😂❤
You must try Pink Floyd too
Lots of great ELO songs. Would love to see you react to "Tightrope ".
Please do telephone line
You Must react to the stellar song, Telephone Line by ELO. Beautiful ballad. 💕🔥
❤️😂🎉🌎🌍🌏🎉😂❤️
Great choice for an ELO song written by Jeff Lynn. Jeff has written many songs for other artists " George Harrison, Traveling Wilburys , Tom Petty, Roy Orbison" as well as movie scores such as Xanadu. Very talented man....... Could you react to " Mr. Blue Sky or Twilight"?. Another great song was "When we was fab", written for George Harrison. Thx..
The sound of this takes me back to 1981, when I still just had a mono portable radio w. cassette, and first heard this one on the ELO Greatest Hits album, which I bought on cassette together with On The Third Day. Great Scott! What an _awful_ sound!
Love your ELO and ABBA reactions...two of the best bands ever!
Totally agree there.
You didn’t react to the full studio version. That is an edited down version that was made for the radio. There’s another version that has an amazing orchestral beginning before the music starts playing and it is the only way to listen to that song, in my opinion. You should listen to that at some point.
Listen to Fire on High
When the violin is activated i am imagening 6 engines of Antonov 225 Maria is activated too, i am also imagine its an English plane ..... Sorry putin
Elo! Omg!
If you like the quirkiness of Electric Light Orchestra, you should check this out from 1984. Jeff did some solo work, and this song blows my mind. I think you will both enjoy it. 😀

Have ou done "Fire On High" yet??
Never has been a favourite of mine, but seems to be for a lot of people. Me, personally, there a lot more better constructed and written songs. Tightrope and Dreaming of 4000 are two of my favourites. But with so many brilliant songs in their catalogue, everyone will have different tunes in their top two. The whole Eldorado album is a masterpiece.
Jeff Lynne: bloody musical genius. It's just that simple.
React to "Twilight" it was from when Jeff wanted to take the band in a different direction.
You guys rrock.....signed a 53 yr old army veteran
please react to sweet talking woman... i love that song!...and xanadu...
It’s a bit of a cliche suggestion, but you should react to the long version of Mr. Blue Sky. You might say that it’s ELO’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” in scope, grandeur and popularity.
Why do the songs sound so muffled? Do they also sound that way to you during the reaction?? God, I hope not. Either way, you gotta clean that up--first and foremost for you, but also for us. Having said that, thanks for continuing with ELO, they rule! I suggest next you react to their 1975 hit song, *"Evil Woman".* Use the studio version! Young lady, forget about music videos, let your mind paint the pictures as you wallow in their beautiful music. If you wanna react to them performing a song live, do a separate reaction another day, AFTER you've already reacted to the studio version.
