    We had a great time at the Corvette Museum on our first trip to Bowling Green. The Corvette Factory Tour was the most interesting stop of our trip.

    Funny, I envisioned the GOO on the downtown strip of Nashville in an older part of town. It has always been on my bucket list. I wish I'd known you were headed to Kentucky! A very kind young man has a great place called The Hippie Hut. He has some great food concoctions he's come up with on his own. Oh, and if this YT thing doesn't pan out, I think you should try out for narrating National Geographic documentary's :). Glad to ride along with y'all on this wonderful journey.

      I had a class A motorhome for a few years, but sold it long ago. My wife and I are retiring and thinking about getting a 5th wheel to travel the country for a couple months at a time. Are you suggesting that a 5th wheel might be to big of a hassle to travel the states? I was thinking the interior room would be well worth the trouble?

    👉🚐👍 You need to write a travel book on where to get the best cookie’s, donuts, and of course “PIE”. 😊 Have you ever driven the Natchez Trace, it start’s at Nashville to Natchez Miss., a must drive, +/- 500 Miles.

    Try Havarti and dill cheese. So good! That donut of Michele's looked delicious. Mammoth Cave and campground are awesome. Do they still have you sit down on benches in one of the rooms, and then turn off the light in order to experience total darkness? Corvette Museum is just ok.

    I was 11 when my family went through the caves that was 68 years ago. I was saddened to hear that there were no stalagmites and stalactites for you guys to see. There were huge rooms of them when we were there. What a great memory for me.

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It must depend on what area of the cave system, because they said there has never been any in the areas we went through, due to the cave being protected so far underground with no water dripping through the ceiling of the caves, (which is what creates them) so maybe they had changed the route of the tour that used to go through an area that came up closer to ground level or something. We’re not sure. 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♀️

    Mammoth is awesome. If I remember correctly we visited the "tuberculosis hospital" underground in the cave system. Starlink arrived 10 minutes ago so I'll be getting ready to hit the road soon. See ya.

    Thanks for another great video! Loving the videos because you are showing so much of the travel days and places you stop. My husband and I laughed when you guys were talking about the gluten free. He usually gets a ton of snacks/ desserts and I just watch because I’m gluten free. Those donuts looked great! We used to watch RV you Tube videos and always wonder why everyone “didn’t have time” to see or do certain things when traveling. We went full time 10 months ago and now understand much better! Again, thanks for your hard work and putting out great content!

    I had to laugh. I had the captioning on because it's a little noisy where I am and when you said "Grand Ole Opry" it came up "random robberies". Great tour of the cave. Maybe I'll make it there one day but don't know about all the stairs. Be safe.

    • @LivinRVision

    Mammoth Caves was a great stop. It is huge and would take days just to see a small portion. I went 15 years ago with intentions of going back, but haven’t made it. There are many smaller caves in the area- part of the huge cave system.

      Nobody we recognized, it was just for the experience. We had a timeframe that we had to get back to Iowa in time for Mother’s Day and make all of our other stops. That’s why we had to make some plan changes along the way. If we did something else, we would of had to give up something. Seems easy on the other end not getting the entire picture we’re sure.

    So you like having the class B while you adventure around the various cities because everything (your home) is with you. But overall, how does it compare to the airstream, or even the class A for overall living experience? Do you miss the room found in the other rigs?

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s just it, you can go in a continuous circle comparing each Class of RV and you will always find something you like more about one over the other. It all boils down to what matters most to you. We have enjoyed the experience with a big Class A, pulling an Airstream and now we are enjoying the conveniences of traveling much easier and being able to see more in less time. Less room, but so many benefits.

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It probably has to do with the things we buy at Costco compared to what other people buy there that have a van and also what we take with us compared to what other people take in their van. If we all had the same storage and took the exact same things and amounts and bought the same things at Costco, then we could understand the confusion.

    I'm interested to know what brand of ham you use that doesn't have nitrates?

      There are a few brands but Hormel makes one called “Natural Choice” that looks like a small cardboard package.

    I loved the Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's home) and CM Hall of Fame. When I was last there Opryland was still full go with lots of shows and rides in the park. Sadly it is all gone now.

    We would like to get a Class B but are afraid of the small holding tanks. Is that a problem?

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not been an issue. To save time explaining why through text, we’re going to have to refer you back to the video where we give a tour of this Class B.

    Looking at getting a new Grech strada. Do you recommend ion batteries over generator? Thanks

      If cost is not a factor, definitely. No loud noise from generator, you can use the batteries in places where generators are not allowed, no fuel needed. The Strada-Ion or any of the Grech RV Ion packages are so nice. When we stop somewhere and get out to go do something and it is hot outside, we just let the ac run while we are gone. When you drive it charges back up. We definitely have been loving the lithionics Ion package in the Strada.

    I always thought about getting a class B but do you find it difficult to travel without a tow car? I mean it’s easy to go places with a class B, park anywhere you want but let’s say you were staying at a campground for a few days and you get all set up. The next day you wanna go exploring now you have to unhook everything do what it is that you’re going to do for the day come back hopefully your spot is still available nobody just took it and have to re-set up again. Have you gone through that? Or how do you work around not having a tow car

      We’ve actually talked about this in past videos…the tear down is so simple and quick. You only have the water hose and electric cord. The sewer hose is already in the retractable reel. We don’t leave the sewer hose out and only take it out when we drain tanks and use the electric reel to put it right back. If you have a tow car, then you just defeated some of the purpose of the van with the shorter length to get into certain places when traveling and making stops. We really started to realize how nice this has been after traveling in this Class B.
      But then again, we all sometimes have different things that are more important to us all…that’s what has worked for us and a big reason why we have been enjoying it so much.

    Do you find you're visiting more places with class b than the trailer or 5th wheel?

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, much easier to stop along the way and see things.

      It’s ok, we realize you can never please 100% of everyone’s liking. Things will constantly change and there will always be some that do and some that don’t like and appreciate what we share. We just keep focusing on now and do our thing. 👍🏻😊🤓

    You should have gone to Paula Dean’s Restaurant. Just past the Grand Ole Oprey.
