It seems to be some ppl have neglected Roy's contribution in the songwriting process.He's not the voice of the band only.He's the co-writer of the songs and most of those beautiful,poetic lyrics were done by him.This,plus his charisma and his voice,are what make him REALLY HARD to replace imo. You could find someone who sings well without much difficulty but he might not have as good chemistry with the band and songwriting ability as Roy has.
It's very sad that Roy left Kamelot, but remember... The band is called Kamelot, NOT Roy Khan... Thumbs up if you still supporting Kamelot after a huge lose of one of the most brilliant singers in history
Each and every Kamelot song is a pure masterpiece. Some bands don't even release a single song in their entire lengthy careers which is up to par with Kamelot's entire song list. The culmination of god like masters in music is what makes it happen.
I remember them opening with this when they were opening for Nightwish. I didn't know the name of the song, but I remembered the chorus for sure. After a short blind search on youtube, I found it. Love this song.

This song has a real sinister feel to it, love it. The video actually really adds to the music as well. Kamelot makes amazing videos, unlike so many other bands. All of their stuff is so incredibly meaningful, it's great to see. If only there were more bands that tried to make deep music like this. Best band in the fucking world!

I wish this would get to swedish music channels, or atleast make it downloadable. I'd like to enjoy this video in perfect quality for it's full effect. The massive stage in the end sends chills of epicness down my human spine. Truly an amazing video for an amazing song! Regards from Sweden.

Roy has resigned definetively from kamelot... he will be really missed. He was a really big inspiration, for me and am sure for a lot of fans out there too. His voice is really unique and his style had changed a lot of paradigms in the power/progresive metal. i wish the best for him and his future, he gave us a lot of masterpieces like this amazing song and it wont be forgotten. from the heart... I like the very fact that Thomas Youngblood runs what appears to be a backwater opium den. It adds a sense of mystery and intrigue as I would expect from Kamelot. Now I just wish they would make an epic video for Memento Mori.
