First.
Yes Shinra Created Shingami, and this is possible because at that's point shinrabanshoman is strongest character and basically a living god, so he created the shingami with ability to take all pillara powers including shinra powers, and the timeline between fire force and soul eater was far and many things developed like power system so it was reasonably thing.

Both Death and Excalibur are stated to be around 800 year old, so the story of Fire Force logicly takes place 800 years prior to soul eater. Soul is most likely someone from the kusakabe family tree, and i assume from Sho side.

I remember finding fire force thinking I did it again found another great one … the manga ending is beautifully done … such a treat these two series coming together and setting up a whole new story very beautifully done so blessed to of be apart of the fandom !!!! Pillar or not, "a power to great for mankind" Arthur at the end is literally a monster who's imagination can bring anything to life, AHHHhhem Excalibur, and thusly the birth of beings that transition into Weapons on command. So prior to whatever occurs off panel Arthur imagined a world where he and excalibur would still be able to journey and vanquish the forces of evil. Arthur defeated easily the strongest of the pillars and thusly possessed a power too great for mankind.

I believe it makes more sense that he was referring to amaterasu. in the chapter before this one she said she was gonna disapear along with despair. and in that same chapter you see shinrabanshoman kick all of that despair out of this world. therefore amaterasu leaving with despair would also make her be out of this world and hence why she was the one death was missing.

My guess is because Nataku is not part of the final battle his Adolla burst (the fear part of evangelist) managed to leave the world when the whole planet was consumed by flame, so Shinigami wasn't able to collect it. That remaining part of the evangelist would later return and turn Ashura into the Kishin.

@@rashplays Now that I think about it this also explain why Ashura had three eyes, even though no other shinigami has one. This is a characteristic the Kishin inherited from the Evangelist to symbolize they are cut from the same cloth.

@@rashplays you’re confused with the story, he didn’t take Amaterasu and Sumire’s powers because they died. Death was taking the most powerful abilities, only those people had their powers pulled straight out of them. So Benimaru and Nataku’s soul is counted in that 7.

If I remember correctly the academy was created for the purpose of creating more death scythes for the grim reaper to use as a weapon .But before that they would just go around killing bad ppl like witches and stuff
The weapons were Arachne's doing.
And Asura is basically the cumulative fear of the rest of Death's gang including Death himself, so he wouldn't be part of the story right away if it's about Death's Legion.
Well I'll like to refresh some soul eater knowledge lady arachnae was the witch who created weapons by imbuing a witches soul and regular souls into the formation of a weapon. Not sure how fireforce works within the full history of soul eater other than the creation and it would be nice to be told who the kishin actually was during that time and death meister academy was constructed to teach those and prevent another kishin.

@@ssjgotenks2009 Actually that can be explained quite easily, Shinra willingly gave away his powers, but the kishn is always evolving of humanities negative perseptions. Also we know that Shinigami likely doesn’t use adolla when fighting. Shinra Bon showman form had a border line perfect soul resistance with Sho and his mother and he gets an insane amp from his new found hope.
I also just realised that death probably took away everyone’s power so that they don’t pass on such busted powers to the next generation by allowing them to eat there souls. Shinigami probably refused to eat there souls since it would lead him down the path of kishn.

He even directly states the reason is because it is too much for humanity to handle, the power that just consumed the whole world in flames.

You're missing the main point. Death didn't take the pillars powers. He took ALL combustion powers. The one not on earth reffers to Arthur because he's one of the strongest when he believes it.

But for real I enjoyed Fire Force it had its moments except the latter half of this arc should've been handled in a different way .

It's funny how people say Okubo is retired when the phrase "Look forward to Okubos next work" followed by Soul World.

First their appearance :
Soul look a lot to shinra and since the first episode of Fire force i could not help but see the distant familiarity.
First the eyes and second recognizable pair of teeth.
In all the serie, i have not seen anyone else with those distinctive traits only Shinra and soul have those trait.
Also there is also soul strange behavior on liking devouring Souls like it was a meal.
No other weapons have this disturbing on soul and i mostly believe that this trait is the reason of the whole soul eater theme and also a connection to the whole shinra recreate the World.
If i was to guess Soul can become the next recreator God candidate, he have this whole plot around being part of the Shinra descandent also he is basically the Logo of soul eater serie.

My guess is that Shinigami left one pillar to maintain some form of madness in this world, I say this since there needs to be balanced in the world.

Looks like soul eater might get a reboot due to black star eyes changing to stars dominantly to fit his ancestors (Could be wrong). Which, I'm 100% for, as Soul Eater needs it and it can follow the manga while doing so much more. The possibilities are high!!

I love how this man doesn't get caught up in the details of cause, but rather a favorable outcome within the effect. Like at the timestamp where Inca roasted him about being an idiot. That little slander didn't matter because the outcome (effect) was that he didn't have to succumb to the awkward request of donating his baby juice. So it's not that he didn't realize, it's that it didn't matter in his equation. We should all strive to be more like that.

Arthur was a pillar ,iris was an imposter ,iris represents the second life amaterasu , arthurs true ability was imagination he created along with shinra the soul eater universe with death and imagination to become weapons and become your own hero excalibur is proof of that since hes the greatest weapon and also being portrayed as an idiot just like arthur .even arthurs parents alluded to it . throughout the fight against dragon ,he was slowly gaining abilities to breath in space ,to cut dragon ,and to heal his body after being obliterated .arthurs ability was only as strong as his self image. arthur most broken character in ff
I'm just theorizing at this point. But I think that in the story in soul world would focus on Arthur's descendant who Inherited Arthur's pillar abilities instead of Maka. And Excalibur was waiting for him in that cave waiting for him to find it and deter anyone else buy playing a delusional fool to annoy anyone that's not the descendant. The descendant finds Excalibur and activates his weapon form's true form in fire force.
So in a way fire force is the Bible to soul eater
So there will be a post fire force timeline to be seen? Remember Shinigami´s witch hunting squad? There were only 3 of them revealed like shinigami himself, Asura and Eibon. Thank you, I was hoping there was a comment about that before I started typing mine out. I almost spit my drink out as I heard Rash Plays say that the two YOUNG PEOPLE standing in front of the door were Arthur and Inca. Arthur and Inca are the same age as Shinra so they should be in their 40s as well. The youth with sharp teeth is most likely Shinra's kid as he was just talking about them before the panel shift.
I think this is right. It would make sense to show the kids since Shinra was just talking about them.
Shinigami was referring to Amaterasu since she already decided that Iris should live in her place, and so she is already "somewhere outside of this world".
I don’t think so bcuz Sumire also chose to die. So then why’d he get her’s but not Amaterasu’s. The only one I can think of is Giovanni bcuz he wasn’t really “human”
Honestly the ending of Fire Force is almost as bad as the ending for Soul Eater. It makes absolutely no sense, leaves a massive amount of plot holes and lore all kinds of jumbled and fucky and is honestly just bad writing.

Also I believe Soul World will not actually be written by Ohkubo. It will be the same as Yashahime with some slight nods to the OG author and maybe Ohkubo himself will be writing part of the script or illustrate some of the colored chapters. He will not be the main guy behind the work BUT similar to Rumiko he will partially benefit from the franchise so his name will be put atop to pull in the old fanbase. This is not too rare of a business stragety I mean many many franchises have done it before even atm Kentaro is still borrowing the popularity of the To Love Ru franchise to boost his new manga Ayakashi Triangle. Soul World I think will be basically the same with Hasemi being replaced by Ohkubo and his assistant will take charge borrowing the franchise popularity.

honestly, the ending of the series caught me off guard, I mean, this whole time, Fire Force was a prequel series to the Soul Eater franchise.
I think Soul is gonna be the mc of Soul world, since Soul had something way deeper going on from the other characters, and he still hides a lot of secrets.

This is something you just don't get with western media. You don't get to watch Naruto being neglected as a child while you are a similar age and being neglected. I then watch him grow up and stop his friends spiral into a life of being a reactionary terrorist. Then youre older and you see him and all his comrades have kids. And now Boruto is being trained by Sasuke soley because he loves his daughter enough to believe his memories have been tampered with. Fire Force didn't do it that big. I and honestly the mangaka seems like a bit of a loser lol however I'm glad that Shinra received a successor. Shinra and Arthur were probably the only well written character. He's no Kishimoto but Fire Force was a fun ride.

I remember watching fire force when it can out, maybe a few months after it did, and, I instantly fell in love with it, and, to learn that it was a prequel to another of my favorite anime and one of the anime I first started watching, I'm really glad to have grown up knowing these manga series, they're some of my favorites, and I can't wait for soul world, I bet it's gonna be even better than fire force and soul eater, honestly, I hope it's better, but, that's just my hopes
maybe the Kishin took the madness of fear into itself, and since the Kishin is no longer in this world since Shinrabanshoman kicked it out (literally, neither is the madness of fear, untill it makes contact with Ashura/takes over Ashura and acts through him. headcannon
Outside this world means in another reality, which means inside the adollo burst realm(basically the underworld) the eighth pillar lives. And that would make sense since if the pillars are symbolic for emotions or sins
The soul eater anime is nothing like the manga
18:55 it doesn't make sense that those 2 are Inca and Arthur, both of them should look older like Shinra, also all of the context so far has been talking about Shinra's child joining so it's more likely that both are children of Shinra, one with Inca and one with Iris.
I mean left one is clearly ShinraxInca due to him looking very much like Inca, the right one is more similar to Arthur, BUT the symbol on his back (under the soul icon) looks like an Iris (flower) ( 18:37 ), so by symbolism he seems to be the son of Iris, and as far as we know Iris ends up with Shinra.
In the panel, the assistant says that "your (Shinra) child enlisted" so only one is a kid of Shinra.
@@chadtatasciore1282 I know that the text refers to a single child, but this could be a translation issue, as in the Japanese wasn't clear wheather it is singlar or plural for "child". Similar to how Japanese doesn't have he/she/it and it's all context based.
Now this is all speculation as I don't know nearly enough about Japanese to even be remotly sure that this could be the case.
It could also be intentionally vague and the author is trolling us.
Otherwise I do not understand why would the chapter refere to Shinra's child and then show 2 people. Have the Arthur look-alike have Iris (flower) patterns on his clothes, when it's more related to Iris herself and we know she and Shinra ended up together. We also have enough clues to suspect that Shinra could have ended up having a child with Inca and it's even more reasonable that he had a child with Iris given that they were an official couple.
Either way unless we get more info about either character we will not know 100% for sure, but there is more then enough to suggest that both might be Shinra's children.

Tbh, Inca sounds too... thirsty for Shinra. I've only watched the anime, so for me, I think they dislike each other. That might've change during S3, but I've always thought that Shinra and Iris, or Hibana would've married. That's just my personal ship opinion. But she do be too thirsty tho-
